Few weeks later - Day before Alex and Charlotte's wedding
We spent the next few weeks together in bliss, either chatting or just hanging out together. We had a few appointments with Dr Patterson and at the last appointment I had gotten my cast off. Qualeb was extremely proud for me as it had healed really well in a relatively short time. He then turned a bit sad since he wasn't able to carry me up and down the stairs. I couldn't stop giggling when he told me. However this didn't stop him. The first few days after I got my cast off, he still carried me around the house. I initially protested it but to be honest I liked it. I mean who doesn't like to be carried around like a princess. His burns had healed really well as. Dr Patterson was really pleased with both of us at our appointment.
After constant nagging, Qualeb showed me the picture that he had drawn that night I went to his room. He had been drawing a portrait of me, where I am turning back and smiling. He had done such a great job and I kept blushing when I first saw the picture. I could feel his love for through the picture. He then has been working on a portrait of Alex and Charlotte. He was drawing them from the back, with a stunning moon lit night and a lake. In Qualeb's wood-shop, I have been helping him make a little bookcase for them for their wedding as a gift as well.
Charlotte had arranged a destination wedding in India, so that Alex's grandparents could be there. Qualeb had arranged a private plane for us to fly to India. I was a bit nervous about flying but Qualeb held my hand the whole time. Qualeb had booked us a beautiful room at a majestic hotel overseeing the sea for the duration of the wedding. It was refreshingly hot here for a change. We arrived on Friday, the day before the wedding and I wore a sleeveless white crop top with wide shorts for a quick tour of the town and to visit Charlotte. She was so excited to see us and a bit nervous about the wedding. They were having a Christian and Hindu fused wedding. Alex's mum was helping with the Hindu side of the wedding and Charlotte's mum was organising the Christian aspect of the wedding. Charlotte showed me my lehenga, a skirt and blouse type of clothing for the Hindu wedding. It was a gorgeous lilac colour skirt with diamond like studs decorating the net. The blouse was a simple cream and complimented the skirt really well. There was a net like shawl that I was meant to wear. She then showed me the most gorgeous necklace that I had ever seen. It was just so stunning and Charlotte was smirking at my reaction. She then showed me what she was going to wear and my jaw hit the floor. Charlotte was ecstatic about getting to wear her red heavy embroidered lehenga for her Hindu wedding.
We went back to our room just before sunset. Qualeb and me sat on our balcony floor with a duvet around us. We watched the sunset together as we were sipping on some wine together. We then went to bed together. I could feel Qualeb getting nervous about meeting my friends and about his scars. I held him close to me whilst we slept, trying to soothe him.
On the morning of Charlotte's wedding, we had to get ready for the Christian wedding first. We had set up one of the rooms as a make up room and there was hustle and shuffle as everyone was getting ready for the wedding. I was getting my hair curled and then styled into a loose side french braid with curls framing my face. My face had a bit of foundation and some blush and highlighter. The makeup artist did wonders with my eyes, with some light purple eyeshadow and eyeliner. She then added some mascara to make my eyes pop. She finished the whole look with some light pink lipstick. I put on my purple bridesmaid dress, that was one shoulder with a ruched waist and bowed strap and a split thigh. I matched the dress with some lavender coloured lace low heels.
Alex had asked Qualeb to be a groomsman and Charlotte had arranged so that he would be standing with Alex while we bridesmaids walked in. Charlotte met us at the door to the big hall at which the wedding was happening. Charlotte looked absolutely stunning in her cold shoulder lace wedding dress. She had put her hair into a neat bun at the nape of her neck. She was wearing a long trailing veil. When I saw her I couldn't help but cry with happiness. She was absolutely beautiful. She gave me a hug and got told off by her makeup artist for nearly ruining her eye makeup with her tears. We all took a big breath before opening the grand door.
The hall was grand and at the end of the hall, there was a oval arch with lots of flowers. Near the altar stood Alex and next to him stood Qualeb. My heart stopped a beat when our eyes met across the room. I could see initial shock and then pure adoration in his eyes as he glanced at me. He looked good enough to eat. He was wearing grey pants and a slim figure hugging white shirt. He was wearing a light purple waist coat and it did wonders to show his toned body. He was wearing a purple tie, matching to my dress. His hair was combed back sleek into a low ponytail. He was wearing his plaster on his right cheek. He looked so confident and sexy I felt my mouth water. When I stood near the altar, Qualeb kept his eyes on me and his admiration turned to lust when he saw my split thigh. I had to sniffle a giggle because the music just changed and Charlotte and her dad walked in. Alex was speechless when he saw Charlotte. I turned to quickly glance at my man and realised he had been watching me the whole time and he smiled when he saw me looking. He mouthed 'I love you' as Charlotte reached the altar and the ceremony started.
After the ceremony we had a short time to mingle and then have lunch. We then had some time to for a dance before we had to get ready for the Hindu portion of the wedding. Qualeb grabbed me around the waist and buried his face into my neck that was exposed and inhaled my scent. He hugged me tightly as he swayed us to the music.
"You look absolutely beautiful my Angel... I don't even want any other man looking at you. I just wanna eat you baby."
My face lit up in embarrassment so I hid in his chest. We danced some more while holding to each other. Then I had to go and get changed into my lehenga. Qualeb gave me a deep and lingering kiss before reluctantly letting me go. As I was leaving the room I saw him still looking at me, so I quickly blew him a kiss before leaving.
The make up artist worked her magic on me again when she got me ready in my lehenga. She went a bit heavier on the eye makeup with a profound winged eyeliner. She added a dark purple lipstick.
My hair was in curls and she had attached a beaded embroidery on the back of my hair. The whole look felt really heavy but I couldn't wait to see Qualebs reaction when he saw me now.
