(A/N) Hi! Read and Comment this is the first part so hang on...
I climbed in to find a note under the door telling me I was grounded for a week and that if I didn't come down there would be no supper for me.
I, in turn wrote a note back not to call the cops. There, let them ponder over that for a bit! I shoved it under the door after I'd packed all my clothes in a duffle and climbed out my window.
Flipping my phone opened I called Riley.
Five minutes later I was at her house and she was opening the door for me before locking it once I'd passed the threshold.
"What happened?" She asked me. I just shook my head while simutanieously mouthing the word 'Dad'
"Oh my god!" She gasped and hugged me, "did he hurt you?"
I shook my head. "No, he tried to hug me and tell me he's sorry but I know for a fact he'll never change!"
I saw her look change from alarm to a scolding teacher.
"Ari, maybe he really did want to make amends."
"A MAN WHO BEETS HIS CHILD WHEN SHE IS SEVEN DOES NOT CHANGE!!" I screamed.
"What?" Her beatiful face whent a ghastlily white.
"Nothing I didn't say anything." I hiss. Why did no one understand me! Why was no one listening to me!
"That was not nothing Ari." Riley tries to hold my arm but I flinch away from her. God! I did not want to have this conversation right now! Not here! Not like this.
"Please just drop it."
"I can't Ari not when it's something like this."
"Fine then!" I unlock the door and wrentch it open.
"Ari don't do this!!" Her sad voice calls out to me, "Stop being a drama queen!"
Oh that was it for me, I wheeled around and looked her in the eyes, "I am so not ready to have a fight when my life is this bad. AND I WILL CERTAINLY NOT BE PRESSURED INTO BRINGING UP BAD THOUGHTS!!" I turned around and ran.
"Ari!"
But I was gone.
I didn't turn to see her crumple to the ground silent tears dripping down her face.
"Oh god! Ari, I'm so sorry!" Riley mutters in the cold air as her homeless bestfriend dissapears into the distance.
(A/N) so... what do you think? good bad? comment please!
