I was living with my brother while the custody battle went on. A few days pass and I'm allowed to go back to school.
The moment I see my friends I hug them as hard as I can.
"Ari!" We hug for five minutes and students pass, whispering. I just smile and wave at them.
I feel good. Not just because my brother and I are safe and we don't have to worry, but also I'm just not stubborn in my sad thoughts. I liked smiling and it made me feel brave.
"Ari!" I turn my head and see Mayhem storming towards me.
"Not one call. Not one." He growls and I smirk.
"Maybe I got held up?"
He holds my head gently in his hands.
"You're beautiful you know."
I laugh.
"Okay." I grin and watch a smile form.
He looks around and whispers conspiratorially to me.
"Should we tel them?"
I grin. "Should we?"
"Let's be brave." He winks at me.
I nod, pretending to be serious. "Let's."
He kisses me, in front of everyone in the hall. It's long but sweet. I twist my hands in his hair and he lifts me off the ground, wrapping my legs around his waste.
"Show off." I muttered against his lips.
"You know it."
I feel his hands running up and down my jean clad legs.
"What's this?" He murmurs. His hand tracing my scar.
"I'll tell you later."
He chuckles and sets me back on my feet. I look back at Sade and Riley and smile.
"Hey guys."
"Yeah?"
"Thanks."
(A/N) the last chapter and then the epilogue! I'm so sad! Ahahahahahaha weh!
