"Who said we'd forgive you?" Daoming Si and the rest of F4 strolled through the doors towards Elite 4.
"He's just messing around. We're sorry for the earlier blow-up. We just felt hurt and misled. We were totally off about you," Hua Za Lei admitted.
"Are we really that awful in your eyes?" Scarlet's voice quivered her eyes on the verge of tears.
"Hey, Annie-oops, sorry, Scarlet-are you a crybaby? I've always seen your fiery side," Daoming Si teased, a smirk playing on his lips.
"You have no idea how much of a crybaby Lettie can be," Ophelia added with a grin.
"Feels good to be back to normal," Meizuo chimed in.
"Alright, let's hit the restart button on this friendship. We want to be friends with the real you, the Elite 4 we've come to know," Hua Za Lei extended his hand with sincerity.
Ophelia nodded and clasped his hand, melting away the tension.
Their embrace was heartfelt, a silent promise of unity.
Scarlet found herself in Daoming Si's arms, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"I never thought you'd be such a crybaby," Daoming Si teased, his tone light.
After a while...
"So, whose genius idea was it to concoct these fake identities?" Ximen asked, his curiosity piqued.
"You won't believe it, but it was Elaine's brainchild," Zoey revealed.
"Really? That's a curveball," Meizuo said, earning an annoyed look from Elaine.
"But how did you all come up with these new personas and looks?" Daoming Si inquired.
"It was pretty simple. We just flipped everything around. Our fake personas and aesthetics are the complete opposite of who we truly are," Ophelia explained.
"So, you turned the crybaby into a fiery one, the hot-tempered one into a softie, the sunny one into a shy person, and the sophisticated one into a clown," Meizuo summarized, chuckling.
"Exactly! And here's a fun tidbit-Eli regretted suggesting this idea," Scarlet chimed in.
"Why's that?" Ximen asked, leaning in with intrigue.
"Because going opposite meant Eli had to wear all pink, her absolute worst colour," Zoey added, a mischievous smile forming.
Elaine's face turned crimson with annoyance.
"That's pretty hilarious," Daoming Si laughed, only to get a playful punch from Elaine on his arm.
"Elaine, take it easy on me," Daoming Si pleaded, a grin tugging at his lips.
"Only Ximen can handle her," Meizuo joked.
As if on cue, Ximen and Elaine seemed to hit it off immediately-she was fiery and calm.
They continued chatting for a while.
After some time, a nurse entered and administered an injection to Scarlet, causing her to drift off to sleep.
F4 bid their goodbyes and headed home, promising another meeting soon.
Elite 4 remained in the room. Scarlet would be discharged the next day.
At the month's end, the engagement of Daoming Si and Shancai awaited-an event brimming with excitement.
