As I strolled down the small path with my skateboard under my arm, I picked some flowers and started weaving them together to make a crown. I picked dandelions, daisies, black eyed susans, and other wildflowers I found along the way. I picked some ferns to weave into the crown as well.

I listened in to the sounds around me; the birds chirping, small animals running through the brush, the leaves and twigs crunching and snapping under my feet, and even the sound the stems of the flowers made when I picked them to add on to my flower crown. I saw rabbits, squirrels, moths, spiders building their intricate little webs, as well as the beautiful colors of the autumn leaves. The deep reds and oranges slowly fell to the ground, seeing as the most beautiful ones fell before the light oranges, yellows, and greens to eventually fade into the brown leaves that I love to crunch under my feet.

The flower crown was almost finished as I added on the last of the flowers I needed. After I set the crown on my head, I reached into one of my pockets to get my earbuds. I pulled out my phone from the other pocket and chose some music to listen to. The music added to the scenery around me.

After taking the path for about 8 minutes, I noticed the path widening into a clearing up ahead. The path led to a small pond, a willow tree (which had some great branches to climb on), and beautiful flowers dotting the ground with blues, yellows, purples, and reddish pinks. As got closer to the pond, I noticed small frogs jumping off of lily pads and into the water, tinted with a light green. It was the most beautiful spot I have ever seen.

I propped my skateboard against the tree as i hoisted myself onto the lowest branch. I could see more of the sky as I climbed higher up the tree, its leaves drooping towards the pond below. The scenery I saw as I reached the top was breathtaking. The sun had started to set below the mountains in the distance, starting to make a sunset as time passed. I saw the clouds turn pink and orange as the sun dipped behind the mountains. The colors of the sunset reflected off the pond on the ground. I wish I could stay here frozen in time, endlessly gazing towards the never ending sunset. But I knew that this short time would soon come to an end.

If only I had someone special to share this beautiful moment with.

Unfortunately, I did have to walk back home before it became too dark out. I climbed down from the willow tree and set my flower crown at the base of the tree. After watching the frogs in the pond for a few more minutes, I grabbed my skateboard before walking back down the trail to the road. The walk was serene, with only bats, crickets, and the leaves crunching under my shoes interrupting the beautiful silence. I eventually made it to the road as soon as the streetlights turned on. Though I needed to get home, I was hungry again. Some gummies would be nice, but I knew we didn't have any at home. So, I kicked off on the skateboard to go back to the 7/11 for some food.

Before going inside, I checked to see how many people were in the store. Luckily, there was nobody I knew from either school or other places I've been. I walked into the store and made a beeline towards the gummies. I picked a few that I liked before making my way to the drinks. After grabbing a coke, I went to pay for the items in my hand. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone. They had on a grey hoodie, but I wasn't able to see their face since the hood was up. It seemed they were coming to the cashier to pay for their things as well.

I grabbed my things and strolled out the door after paying. But as I got back on my skateboard to leave, I felt someone walk up behind me. They placed their hand on my shoulder, and I turned my head to see who was behind me. The hooded person towered above me, yet I still couldn't see their face. Goddammit, I hate being short. As I started to panic in my head, wondering if they would hurt me or not, they spoke.

"Can I get ur number babygworl? ',:)"

Oh my god, it's just Pizza.

a/n: For anyone who knows me irl, I imagine Pizza as Milo because he would totally say this.

"Dude, you scared me!" I shouted as I took a sigh of relief.

"Yeah, that was the point." he stated. "Why are you out so late anyway?"

"Wanted some food," I answered. "Looks like you had the same idea." I saw the many bags of chips and bottles of different drinks in the bags he was holding.

"Well I need to stock up on food for school tomorrow," he said. "I will not go hungry this time after you guys take most of my snacks."

Oh shit, we have school tomorrow.

"I should probably go home so I don't pull an all nighter again," I said, starting to yawn. "Okay, see you tomorrow!" Pizza yelled while walking on the way to his house. "See ya!" I shouted back.

I made it back to my house and opened the front door; it was unlocked, so Liam must be back. I saw Liam sitting on the couch, eating some pasta and watching a movie. He paused the movie he was watching to turn and see me taking off my shoes.

"You were out a while."

"I spent a lot of time talking to the ga(y)ng."

"Okay, just make sure you don't stay out too late. There could be lots of creeps around here."

"I know, I'm always careful." I set my shoes by the door and walk into the living room.

"I made some pasta, you want some?"

"Sure." I grabbed a dish from the cupboards and got some pasta, pouring the sauce on top. Looking in the fridge, I saw we still had some homemade iced tea left. I poured myself a glass and sat next to Liam on the couch with my food and drink. "What are you watching?"

"Howl's Moving Castle," he answered, taking another bite of pasta. I took a sip of iced tea as he hit play on the remote and the movie started up again.

After watching a cinematic masterpiece, I felt really tired. I walked upstairs and grabbed some pajamas (aka an old t-shirt and shorts) and went into the bathroom to take a shower. I climbed into bed after the shower to do random things on my phone and eventually drift off to sleep at around midnight.

Tomorrow at school will just be so fun.
