Chapter Thirteen: Fight For Her
Spencer's POV
The drive to the restaurant was filled with a mixture of excitement and nerves. The connection between Serena and me had reignited, but I couldn't shake the memory of my former fling with Ms. Antares, who I only later found out was my teacher.
"This place looks incredible, Addy. How did you find it?" Serena asked as we were led to our table.
"A friend recommended it," I replied, avoiding her eyes. In truth, I had been here with Ms. Antares, but I wasn't ready to share that part of my past.
We settled into our seats, and the conversation flowed easily as we shared a bottle of wine and ordered dinner. Despite the undercurrent of my previous relationship with Ms. Antares, the night was shaping up to be something special.
As we were enjoying our meal, I glanced across the restaurant and spotted Ms. Antares sitting at another table. A shock of recognition hit me, and my heart started to race.
"Addy, look," Serena whispered, nodding subtly in Ms. Antares' direction. "Isn't that Ms. Antares? Our English teacher?"
I turned to look, my eyes widening. "Wow, it is! Small world."
It was clear now that I had unconsciously chosen this restaurant to make her jealous.
The rest of the dinner was a blur as I tried to focus on Serena, but my thoughts kept drifting to Isabella. Serena seemed to sense my distraction but said nothing.
As we finished our meal, Serena reached across the table and squeezed my hand. "Addy, thank you for tonight. It's been wonderful."
I forced a smile, feeling guilty about my hidden motives. "Thank you, Serena. I had a great time too."
We paid the bill and made our way to the door, my eyes involuntarily glancing back at Isabella one last time. She looked up, and our eyes met. A myriad of emotions passed between us in that brief moment before Serena and I stepped out into the night.
As we drove away, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had used Serena to get back at Isabella, even though I genuinely enjoyed spending time with her but not as much as I would have with Isabella.
"Addy, are you okay?" Serena asked, her voice filled with concern.
I forced a smile, pushing my feelings aside. "I'm fine, Serena. Let's just go back to my place and enjoy the night."
************
Touching Serena's chin, I press my lips to hers. The kiss is both gentle and assured, my lips moving with a practiced touch, my tongue darting into her mouth. It's like the wind's caress, and Serena is a storm waiting to be calmed.
She seems grateful that I made the first move tonight, her body relaxing even as her craving intensifies. I can feel her desire through our kisses. Her hand moves to unbutton my top, and I don't stop her.
My hand runs down Serena's chest, caressing her breasts and lightly squeezing her nipples through the red satin. Breaking the kiss, I smile and whisper something, an endearment perhaps, before lifting my arms to allow her to remove my top.
"You are a goddess," Serena breathes, her hand trailing down between my breasts. Her mouth follows her hand, tasting the lingering tang of my strawberry body wash.
I groan and lift my hips as she tugs down my pants. "No, Serena, you are," I assure her, hands tangling in her hair, resisting the urge to push her downward.
Serena's smile is full of mystery. Her touch on my thighs is electric, and I feel a slight jerk when she takes her first tentative lick. Hunger and desire bubble to the surface as Serena's tongue flickers over my clit.
