The path of desolation is tied to the void, essentially a place that acts like the spirit world. However only for the damned and tarnished, and resides a prison for them.

Evermore essentially runs a prison and now that she was removed by other Aeons. The prison was left unsupervised allowing the tarnished and damned creatures to roam free, and cause problems for other planets.

Both the tarnished and damned are trying to take advantage of this, and locate evermore and kill her while they could.

The damned are just violent human souls, usually consists of those who use black magic, defiled a sacred tomb, and etc..

The natives of the Ethera, they are human with advanced technology.
Their lives are similar to nomadic tribes, especially the Inuit, and like Belobog they learned how to endure the harsh cold winter.

Another name for the people are Keepers of the void, since they live on a frozen planet that symbolizes the gate to the void.

However since Evermore's absence and the Watchtower is unsupervised, many have fled and gone into hiding. However the other people of the star system believed to have been killed off, or was just a ghost story.
