The next morning everyone was gathered in the lobby. Mr Seo texted them all that they were doing a group activity today. Jiah wasn't feeling up to it just like half of the group. Some were still hangover from clubbing last night while some didn't get their full hours of sleep.
"For the last day in Japan.." he made a suspense noise with his hands. "..we're going sight seeing in the mountains!"
Gunwook, Matthew and some staff jumped in the air, exited. Jiah rolled her eyes. She didn't hate the mountains, but she just..wanted to stay back and sleep.
She hasn't spoken to Yujun since the fight. Last night, she came back to the room with Yujun snoring like there was no tomorrow. In the morning, she went to the store to buy her some chocolate that usually helped her with her hangover. Yujun ate it in silence while Jiah hid in the bathroom until it was time to go.
"Why sight seeing? Are we a bunch of old people?" one of the stylists complained.
"Can't we just rest today?" Jiwoong offered. "I think some of us are too tired from yesterday"
Mr Seo smiled awkwardly. "It's because-"
"Are you ready to check out?"
All the staff and members turned their heads. The manager of the hotel was standing there with a basket in his hands, titled 'keys'. Jiah let out an unbelievable scoff.
"But our plane leaves at 6am tomorrow morning!" Gyuvin said shocked. "Don't tell me.."
"It's fine everyone. The airport has a place where we can all catch our sleep. Now quick!" manager Seo said annoyed. "Go pack your bags. Don't let this poor man waiting"
"Are we this cheap.." Jiah mumbled.
Everyone went back to their rooms to get dressed and gather their stuff. Jiah packed her bag in silence while Yujun was trying to approach her. Jiah could hold a grudge forever and give someone the silence treatment for hours, but Yujun couldn't. She always wanted to gossip or comment on something, making it hard for her to not talk to her friend.
"You guys done?" Hanbin knocked on the door before entering the room. "How are you feeling?"
"Im fi-" Yujun was about to answer until she noticed how he was looking at Jiah. She smiled a little and took a step back.
"Ricky told me how late you guys got back" he said as he approached her. "What were you doing?"
Jiah swung her bag around her shoulder and looked at the curious boy. "We just talked" she replied honestly. "Nothing much"
He nodded. He felt a little jealous, but he didn't make it obvious. He knew she couldn't be interest in Ricky. That's all that mattered to him.
"We should go" Yujun said as an awkward silence hit. "Before the others leave without us"
The three of them left the room and headed downstairs. Hanbin reunited with his friends while Jiah and Yujun just stood besides each other without saying anything. Even during the three hour bus ride to the mountains, they said not a single word to each other.
The bags and suitcases were left in the bus as the group gathered in front of their tour guide. It was short man with a moustache, bright blue jacket and funny looking sandals with yellow socks.
Jiah looked at Yujun, trying to hold her laugh. She knew how much she hated it when people wore sandals with socks. Yujun's face looked sour like she just ate a sour patch.
