The music was loud. She kept tapping her foot on the ground, biting her nail while looking at her phone. Yujun knew Jiah her name was about to pop up any second. She knew it. But it didn't. Seconds turned into minutes and she felt like she was waisting her time by just sitting around, doing nothing.

"Still haven't heard from her?" Sungjae asked. "I'm getting worried"

"Well don't, because that'll mean something is wrong and nothing is wrong" Yujun looked at the screens and watched how the 8 members were doing their best to cover up the hole Ricky left. "But something feels off"

"Like what?" 

Yujun her head jerked around when hearing the familiar voice. It was Yoona. A tear went down her eye as she embraced her best friend. 

"It's okay. She's okay" Yoona let go of her. "She's not a kid"

"But she is. She hasn't been out alone in years" Yujun scratched her arms harshly like she always did in situations like this. "What do we do?"

"Maybe you guys should go home. That's the place she would go to if something happened" Sungjae said. "And don't worry Yujun, I'll cover for you. Not that it's much needed with everyone's focus on the missing member"

"Thanks" Yujun mumbled.

"Missing member?" Yoona asked confused. "A member is missing too?"

"You don't think it's connected do you?" Yujun looked at her friend. "Jiah and Ricky.."

"No, Jiah wouldn't" Yoona chuckled nervously. "Unless.."

Suddenly, her phone started to ring. It was anonymous. Her skin filled with goosebumps. This situation gave her flashbacks, not the good kind.

Yoona showed her phone screen to the two in front of her. They both signed her to pick up. She accepted the call and put it on speaker.

"Hello, this is detective Seo. I'm calling regarding your friend Jung Jiah.."

The four of them had been sitting across from each other in silence for 10 minutes. Ricky was sitting on a chair besides Jiah while Yoona and Yujun were sitting on Jiah's bed in front of them. The two girls looked at each other before looking at the red couple.

"You're dating?" Yujun asked right away.

Ricky and Jiah glanced at each other and then shook their heads at the same time.

"Do you kiss your normal friends on their forehead too while holding their hand?" Yoona asked Yujun who shook her head aggressively.

"So if not a couple, what are you.." Yujun thought. "Situationship?"

"Yes" Ricky replied, making Jiah nudge him.

"Oh!" Yujun yelled out, frightening everyone. "Sorry, I was expecting you to deny it"

"What is there to deny at this point?" he said again, looking at Jiah who had a defeated look on her face. 

"It explains your sudden change of behaviour" Yoona shoved closer to Jiah. "I'm sorry for all the things I said before. I should've just asked you calmly"

Jiah didn't reply and just looked at her arms, fazed.

"Okay now as your coworker I have to say.." Yujun looked at Ricky and clenched her teeth. "You are in so much trouble"
