"i've been meaning to ask you, what the fuck was that about the other night?" doody asked me as i attempted to cut up some fruit for the girls.
it was about to be there lunch time, and kim just been on my ass recently about feeding them junk food so, fruit and veggies it is.
shits lame but whatever.
plus i had them for the week, so.
"what?" i chuckled already know what he was talking about.
everyone was talking about it, the shit with natalia.
it was all over the tv and shit, people questioning is it real or not... why would i lie?
even my mom called me about the shit, which is fucked up because natalia herself hasn't even said nothing to me about it. or in general.
doody smiled. "nigga you know what i'm talking about-." he said shaking his head. "the shit with the picture, i didnt know you guys were like that..." he said as i shrugged.
"like that? like what?" i asked him.
"like, in a relationship with her. damn em, you kept that from us?"
"i didn't keep shit, we not even in a relationship, she just doesn't know what she wants." i spoke truthfully.
i did feel like she didn't know what she wanted. that why she just up and disappeared.
"so what was that about? y'all must be sleeping together or something."
"daddy?" i heard my child voice from the top of the stairs, making my attention go over there.
hailie and laine knew not to come out of the bedrooms without me going to get them, they knew that was main reason for going to bed early.

"laine we are not arguing about this, im the adult here." i explained to my other daughter as i tucked her into bed.
"but dad...why do i have to go to bed early if hai was the one who left the room, i wanted to watch a movie-."
"we can watch a movie tomorrow."
"but i wanted to watch it tonight!"
"well the night is over, please close your eyes and count the sheep." i told her kissing her forehead.
"i like counting sheep." hailie said as i nodded.
"good now, both of you, goodnight."
"goodnight daddy."

"wait daddy!" hailie called out.
i looked over to her before walking to her bed again. "yes? what's wrong?"
"daddy, you have girlfriend?" she asked me sitting up in her bed. "not mommy- new girlfriend?"
"hailie don't be ridiculous, mommy and daddy are girlfriend and boyfriend-."
"noooo, mommy has a new boyfriend and so does daddy, daddy are you with that girl from tv, the pretty one?"
i chuckled shaking my head. "daddy doesn't have a girlfriend girls. the only girls that are important in my life are you two." i told them.
"nooo mommy said your with that skank from tv..."
"yeah and your mommy is a dumbass."
"well your mommy is a special individual who needs to go to a psych ward." i told the girls referring to both of the moms, individually.
