The man with fangs grabbed Tom by the shoulders, wanting to get a bite. Tom yelled at him and tried to fight off the man. Unintentionally, he released a shockwave from his hand, throwing the man backwards.
Everyone in the hallway was surprised by the man sent flying back.
Eyes widened, Tom looked at his hand. "The hell?"
Antonia looked at him. "You're a witch."
"Well", was all Tom could say.
The man stood up, looking at Tom in anger, his face still looking demonic. "I'm gonna kill you."
"No", Antonia exclaimed. "A witch could be of use to us."
"Piss off", the man replied.
He ran towards Tom, grabbing him with his hand and ripping him off the ground. With inhuman strength, he threw Tom against the wall, pinning him there. Tom cried out as his head hit the concrete.
Tom struggled as much as possible. "Let me go!"
So fast, no more than a blur, Antonia moved over to them, grabbing the man and throwing him across the hallway.
"I said no!", she commanded.
The man stood up, growling in anger. He was about to attack again. But before anyone could react, he was suddenly dragged into the darkness of the unlit hallway.
Everyone looked shocked at where he'd just gone, not quite believing what just happened.
Antonia called out to the darkness: "Who's there?"
A silhouette formed, coming closer, taking its time walking through the hallway towards them. The shadow grew larger and larger until finally they came into view. The figure revealed itself to be a man. His eyes were dark, so was his curly hair. The man was dressed in all black clothing, from his black boots to his leather jacket.
He smirked, looking at them. "Well, this looks like fun, doesn't it?"
Antonia seemed to recognize him. "What did you do to Gil?"
The man looked behind to the darkness for a second, then back to the group in front of him, a diabolical look on his face. "Something that can't be reversed."
"Did... Did you kill him?", Eliott asked, nervously.
"Ye could say that", the man stated calmly, "So what?"
Eliott, Celine and Tom exchanged horrified expressions.
They wanted to get the hell out of here. But how? Tom thought, if he could shoot a shockwave out of his hand again, throwing Antonia and the mysterious stranger, hopefully it would knock them out long enough for them to escape.
He raised his hand, focusing hard. But nothing happened.
The man raised his eyebrow. "What are you doing?"
Tom froze, unsure of how to proceed.
The unknown man stepped forward, looking at Antonia. "What is he doing?"
Antonia took two slow steps towards the newcomer. "He's trying to cast a spell."
The man laughed. "I see. A newbie witch, huh?"
Tom clenched his jaw. Right now, he wished he'd know any spells. Then he paused as it occurred to him that he did, in fact, knew one.
But it would hurt these two. Right? Still, it was their only chance to get out of here.
So, Tom raised his hand again, focusing hardly. The man raised an eyebrow in response, looking amused.
"Phesmatos Incendia", Tom shouted.
