He had actually done it. Eliott had mustered the courage to bring Victor home. As Eliott crossed the threshold of his own doorstep, he paused and glanced back at Victor, who remained outside, unable to enter.
"Well?" the vampire inquired, arms crossed and casually leaning against the doorframe. "This is your last chance to decide. Will you invite me in or not?"
Eliott took a moment to contemplate, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts. Finally, he exhaled and spoke, his voice barely audible. "Come in."
With a single step, Victor entered the house, shutting the door behind him. His eyes wandered, taking in the surroundings. "Cozy. Where is your family?"
"They're away at the moment. Besides, I'll be turning eighteen next week, so I can handle myself," Eliott replied, a hint of confidence in his tone.
Victor smiled, amused by the young man's assertion. "I'm sure you can."
Eliott watched as the Original removed his jacket and hung it on the coat rack by the front door. Victor then proceeded to the couch, where he sat down, stretching out comfortably.
Hesitant, Eliott took a seat beside Victor, his gaze fixated on the enigmatic vampire.
"So, what a night, huh?" he murmured, prompting Victor to look at him.
"Why did you invite me?" Victor inquired, causing Eliott's throat to tighten with apprehension.
"I honestly don't know," Eliott admitted truthfully, feeling a knot form in his stomach. "I suppose I've always been fascinated by y... well, by the supernatural world."
Victor's lips curled slightly, a subtle smirk forming. "Just so you know, I'm not here for an Anne Rice-style interview."
Eliott chuckled nervously. "No, no, I didn't mean it like that. I just..."
He faltered, unsure of how to express his true intentions. Did he dare confess that he wanted to be closer to the vampire? To unravel the mysteries that surrounded him? Such questions might scare Victor away, and Eliott couldn't bear the thought.
Instead, he leaned closer to the Original, his hand gently reaching out to grasp his. "It's been a long time since anyone has been this close to me."
Victor's eyes widened in surprise, his lips parting slightly. "... What do you mean?"
Without hesitation, all coherent thoughts fled from Eliott's mind. In an impulsive act, he pressed his lips against Victor's, prompting a soft gasp to escape the vampire's mouth.
For a short second, they remained there, frozen, unsure about their actions. Then, when they realised what was happening, they kissed deeply, desperately.
Eliott pulled away, gasping as he tried to catch his breath. "Is this okay? You're okay with this, right?"
A light grin just spread on the Original's face as he kissed Eliott again, his hands moving to Eliott's hips, pulling the other closer to him.
Eliott moaned quietly as Victor kissed him once more, then slowly pulled him closer, deepening the kiss.
Eliott's heart began beating faster as Victor held him tightly. It had been forever since a person had touched him this. And now, the vampire was holding him like he owned him....
His mind screamed at him to pull away, that it couldn't last. But he let the idea go and allowed himself to melt into Victor's warmth, letting the feeling wash over him. This was his chance to explore more about this attraction to someone like this vampire.
Victor's hand glid under Eliott's shirt, stroking his skin and making him shiver. The Original moved to sit between his legs, kissing the side of his neck. Eliott could only breathe heavily and run his fingers through Victor's hair.
