At Gangnam-gu middle school, Seoul

"Hey, I heard we're having a new student in our class"
"So what, it's nothing new since it's the beginning of the school year"
"Yeah, but I heard he's a really intelligent and smart kid. Do u think he can beat jk"
"Idk, let's see"

"What the hell are they talking about?" A boy asked his friend with a visible frown on his forehead, maybe cause of what the girl said about someone beating him.
" omo, you didn't know?" His friend said with a dramatic gasp.
" stop being dramatic hobi hyung and just tell me" the boy said, slightly annoyed
Hobi just rolled his eyes and said "there's a student joining our class today, and from what I've heard, he's really intelligent and smart. People are betting on whether he can beat u in studies"
"They're betting on me?!" The boy asked, disbelieved and hobi just nodded. The boy scoffed and said "just wait and see how those who said he will beat me, miserably lose their bets" he said with a smirk and hobi looked at him, kinda curious
" whatchu gon' do" he asked with his right eyebrow raised. The boy shrugged and said
"First let's see if he's to my level"
"Don't be too confident Jungkook, cause from what I've heard, one of the student seemed very confident while betting on him beating u cause he's friends with him, which means he knows him more than anyone else in this school"
Jungkook frowned at that and then asked "who's friends with him?"
"Park Jimin"
"Who's park Jimin" a voice groaned behind them
"Yoongi!! U scared me!! And I thought you were sleeping‽" Hobi said, a little startled whereas jungkook stayed calm cause he's used to yoongi's suddenness.
"I was sleeping but ur blabbering woke me up. Now tell me who's coming to beat jungkook and who's park Jimin"
Hearing yoongi's question, hobi looked at him and gasped in disbelief and said "OMG, u don't know park Jimin‽!" Yoongi just shrugged "was I supposed to know him"
"Broo, we've been in the same class with him since last year and u still don't know him" he dramatically gasped and yoongi just rolled his eyes. "seriously, I can't with u guys" hobi said shaking his head in "oh stop being dramatic hobi and just answer my question" yoongi said boringly. Then hobi started telling yoongi about the new boy and park Jimin.
And on the other hand, jungkook was thinking about who that new kid would be.

"Good morning class" the teacher said, entering the classroom. All the students stood up, bowing and wishing good morning to the teacher.
" So I think u guys already know that we're having a new student in this class" teacher said, making some students nod, some answering yes/no. "If u didn't know then now u do, so I'll just call him in. Please come in" the teacher said the last sentence looking at the door, and hearing that everyone, including jungkook, looked towards the door curiously. There entered a boy, wearing the school uniform sweater, a baseball cap that is covering almost half of his face and a backpack hanging on his shoulder. "Please remove the cap and introduce yourself" the teacher said with a smile. The boy turned his face towards the teacher and smiled, then looked at the curious students, taking the cap off, shaking his head a little to fix his hair and then started talking "Hi, I'm Kim taehyung, 13, and a basketball lover. Hope we get along and if we don't then please don't fuck with me, the result might hurt. That's it i guess" he said with an innocent smile making the students gasp at what he said. "Ok Taehyung u can go take a sit wherever u want" the teacher said and he smiled at her, then looked ahead to see jimin raising his hand for him to sit with him.

All this time someone was staring at him and that someone is non other than Jeon jungkook. Feeling his side being nudged, jungkook moved his gaze from the new boy to his right to see hobi looking at him with a smirk. He raised his brow, asking 'what', "someone is mesmerized by the beauty, huh?" Hobi said with a teasing look.
Hearing him, jungkook frowned"who's mesmerized by who's beauty?"
"You're mesmerized by Taehyung's beauty" hobi said, still having that teasing look and Jungkook just scoffed, cheeks a little pink " me! and mesmerized by his beauty?‽!, R u blind or what, where do u see beauty in that devil looking face" he said the last sentence a little loud which was heard by Taehyung, who was sitting not far from them, and at that moment he (tae) knew he won't really like this guy.
