𝚂𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚝 𝙰𝚜 𝙷𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚗 (𝚅𝚒𝚔𝚝𝚘𝚛 𝚡 𝙼𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝚁𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛)

Chapter 1

"Y/n come on hurry, you know today's the day we're getting adopted!" Jinx calls to you. 

"Okay okay just gimmie  sec I gotta change into my "nice clothes".

 "Okay fine but hurry!!" She yells back as she waits.

"Okay I'm done" You say as you run to join everyone else in the waiting room.

All the kids take as seat and try to look their best. You sit down on the chair next to your best friend Jinx as you guys wait for the parents and families to arrive. 

"Heyyyy Y/n do you think we're finally gonna be adopted today?" Jinx whispers, "I really hope so cause we've been waiting years" It wasn't really years but to you guys it seemed like it had. "I hope I get a Piltie family cause I wanna live in that city" she whisper yells. "I'm happy with living in Zaun so I just wanna be adopted" you smile. 

Everyone goes silent as families start to walk into the room. They walk around observing all the kids as everyone tries their best to look nice. You watch as one by one kids get taken to different rooms to talk with the parents. It seemed like forever until you and Jinx were both taken by a man. You guys walk quietly to the room. You all take a seat again and he finally asks, "What are your names?", Jinx answers first. "My name is Jinx!" she says excitedly, "And I'm Y/n" you stutter.

You watch as the man looks from Jinx then back to you, you notice he has two different colored eyes and burnt skin, normally you would be scared but you're in Zaun so that is pretty normal. "My name is Silco" he responded, "would you both like to be adopted?" "Wow I would love it if you adopted me and Y/n!!!" Jinx replies. He lets out a quiet chuckle as he smiles. You feel yourself becoming very happy at the fact that you and your best friend are going to be living together from now on.

He fills out forms while you guys wait patiently, finally he finishes and you follow him out the building. This was so exciting, the farthest you had ever been was on orphanage grounds. "I'm so excited!" Jinx tells you as you walk with him, "Just a little farther until we're there" Silco says. 

When you guys finally arrive you see what looks like a warehouse, at first you are a little bit skeptical about what he wants you both for. When you go inside he leads you past a factory that makes some sort of bright purple liquid. "What is that purple stuff?" you ask him, "It's my product called Shimmer that I sell" he replies, "Anyways let me bring you to your room!" 

Silco Pov: 

This worked out well, he was told that Singed wanted for his son to have friends as he had a hard time making them, he prepared to adopt two kids and he found the perfect two! 

Y/n Pov:

 He leads you both to a brightly lit room with a bunk bed and everything you guys could want! You and Jinx were both shocked, you had your own beds, plushies, toys, even mechanical parts so that you guys could build whatever you wanted! You guys won the orphan lottery. "Do you both like your new room?" Silco asked.  "Like? I love it" you said happily, "This is amazing" Jinx gasped immediately running over to claim a bed. "Woah slow down Jinx I wanna pick too!" you yell. She immediately climbs up the ladder and picks the top bunk. "Y/n its your fault for being too slow!" Silco laughs and tells you both that you can play for awhile and he'll come get you when its lunch time. 

"Y/n we got so lucky!" Jinx says as she playfully hits you with a plushie. "Owwwww" you pretend. "Omg did I hurt you? I know I'm super strong" she laughs. "Wow you're so mean, you know that?" you tell her. "We really did get super lucky though." "I'm so happy we're gonna be siblings now!" she suddenly yells. Siblings, Y/n didn't even think of that before, "ME TOO" you yell a little too loudly, she pulls you into a hug. 

You thought you were the happiest you could be in this moment but, you didn't know tomorrow was going to be even better.
