(I have so many ideas planned, enjoy!)
You finally made it to Viktor's house sure, you got a couple weird stares. Viktor was slightly embarassed at having this much attention drawn on you both, all that mattered to you was that he would soon be warm and safe.
"Do you want me to put you down right now?" You asked him, "Erm, if you would want to then you may carry me inside." He said as if trying to hint to you that he wanted to still be carried.
It filled him with warmth, not physical warmth, more like comforting feelings. "Thank you, I appreciate your approval." You joked, Viktor takes the keys out of his front pocket and hands you them, "thanks love." You smiled and start to unlock the door, when you both went inside it was like a rush of warm air had engulfed you, there was no need for warm clothes as you closed the door and locked it.
Viktor wanted to keep your jacket because it smelled like you so, he did the best thing possible. Pretend he was still cold and "needed it."
"I'll make you something for your leg." Y/n smiled, you knew what you were going to make him, special painkilling tea your mother had always made you as a kid. You weren't sure if it was Viktor's personal taste but you'd have to find out later, this was for his own good.
"Hey love, how are you feeling?" You asked as you sat down on the bed next to him. "Ehh, better now that my leg is out of the cold." He sighed, "I'm sorry for being such a burden."
You heart dropped, you didn't consider him that. You gently hold his chin up with your thumb and index finger so that he's facing you. "You're not a burden, you never were." You told him gently, "I appreciate it Y/n, I really do but, the truth is, I always was and I will continue to be until I prove my worth in this world.
"I know you'll do great things but, you don't need to prove anything to anyone, if they don't see you for who you really are then, that's on them, it's their loss." You say as your gaze softens.
"Y/n you're so kind to me, why is that?" Viktor asked genuinely.
You shrug, "because I see you for who you are..."
"Who am I?"
"Someone who needs some tea." You laughed while removing your hand from his chin. "But to be for real, you're an amazing person that people are too quick to judge."
"You're so sweet, too sweet for your own good." Viktor smiles.
"I'm going to make you a special tea, my mothers recipe, that is if you have all the ingredients." You say happily.
"That's very sweet of you also, tea ingredients are on the top shelf on the right," He motioned to the shelves.
"I'll be back soon Vik!" You say excitedly as you quickly kiss his cheek, he laughed quietly in response.
You were going to make him your mother's special Lavender tea, it had the perfect mix to help relax the consumer and numb any pain. You open the shelf he told you about and looked through the wide assortment. "There we go, culinary grade dried lavender." You reach for the small glass container, pot of organic, golden, honey, and ginger root. You placed those ingredients down on the table and look for the last one, lemon.
"Viktor, do you have lemon?" You called him, "Yes, in the fridge" he says back as loudly as he can. "Thank you honey!" You giggle to yourself as your eyes rest upon the pot of honey that you had placed on the counter. You grab the nicest looking lemon you see and place it down alongside the rest of the ingredients. You think back on when your mother would make it for you, you could practically still hear her voice explaining the instructions to you.
"Y/n, first you're going to boil the leaves to extract the essence, Y/n please pay attention, you might need this one day." She explains calmly, she always was so patient with you, you wished you had appreciated her more when she was still among the living.
"Sorry mama, making tea is boring, I wanna go play outside with the neighbors!" You would complain.
You couldn't help but feel sad, wishing you had listened to her more.
"You can after this but, first: you're going to help me boil the lavender okay?" Her voice as sweet as the honey being used in the recipe. You would grab the old pot and fill it up with water, then place it on the stove top. She was always proud of you, even as you grew older she still congratulated you every time for doing it.
You remembered her gentleness and praise as you did the same steps, take a small pot, fill it with water, place it on stove.
"Good jov Y/n, I'm so proud of you!" You could hear her say in your mind.
Your eyes watered as you struggled to hold it in.
"Stay strong, do it for Viktor." You inhaled deeply to calm yourself down.
The one who loved you more than anything was in the other room, waiting on the drink you had promised, you couldn't let him down could you?
