Chapter 11

"Y/N HOW DID IT GO!" Jinx screamed at you. "What do you mean?", "How did what go?" You were clueless. "Your date-", she managed before you cut her off "Oh, that wasn't a date Jinx." "But you know what is? Tommorow!", "Thats right, guess who has a date. Not youuuuu!" You teased her. 

"Y/n genuinely shut up." Jinx glared. "Okay but, your date tomorrow, it's definitely Viktor right?" 

"Of course it is Jinx, who else?" 

"The girl from the orphanage, I think her name was Myla or Mila? I'm not sure but, point is Y/n you should avoid her if you see her in public, I heard she's kind of a stalker." "Uhm a stalker? Jinx I don't even know who that is." You responded slightly concerned.

"My poor, dear, innocent, brother." "You don't pay attention enough, have you never heard her telling her friend stuff about you when we were in the orphanage?" She rambled.

"Jinx, once again, I don't know who she is, I don't even know what she looks like."  

"She's some girl who's slightly younger than us, she was adopted a few minutes before we were."

" You sure you don't remember her? " She pursued.

"Long, waist length, natural purple hair? Does that ring any bells Y/n?"

"Jinx just keep giving me a description of her." You sighed.

"Okay so yeah, purple hair, bright green eyes, and I think she's like around my height? Like about 5"3 I think." 

"Y/n just be careful tomorrow okay, if she knows you're on a date with Viktor, I don't know what she'd do." 

"Okay, thanks for the warning then Jinx..." You were getting increasingly concerned as you worried if anything would happen to Viktor. "I won't let anything happen, I swore to Singed that I wouldn't" You thought to yourself.

"Jinx, I won't let anything happen to him if she tries anything." You said confidently.

"I'm sure you won't, your precious boyfriend should be sooooo happy to have his own knight in shining armor." "I'd say you're more like loser wrapped in tin-foil though." She joked.

"I like how nice you are to me all the time." You say sarcastically.

"I try to be buddy." She punches you and runs away dramatically.

"Goddamn, she actually hits hard." You thought to yourself.

Viktor Pov: 

"Viktor breath, it's just a date, calm yourself down, HOW CAN I, IT'S MY FIRST EVER DATE!" He panicked. 

"Okay breath, Y/n said casual, I can do this." "I should pick something warm for the winter season." Viktor looks through his small selection of clothes and finally spots it, perfect, a baggy, pastel, yellowish brown, knitted, sweater, "okay this'll work." He thought. "But now what about pants?"

He quickly flips through his selection and comes across black sweatpants. "This isn't too lazy right? Y/n did say casual but, this seems like something I just threw together." He looks through his closet. "I guess it has to be this then." He sighed to himself. "Hopefully I'm not under dressed."

Just then Singed walked into the room. 

"Viktor, I trust Y/n but, please tell me if he tries anything or anything bad happens to you, you're my only son." He tells Viktor calmly.

Viktor was unsure how to feel about this, this meant his dad didn't fully trust Y/n then right? He wasn't sure if he, himself trusted Y/n fully. Trusting people and letting them in was difficult for him but, Y/n seemed like a good person.

"I will, I'll tell you about how the whole day went when I get back." He finally replied.

"Okay Viktor, I'm proud of you by the way." 

"For what?" Viktor asked confused.

"I'm proud of the person you are now, back when you first came into my life, you were so young yet, you were so skilled and talented, I'm proud of you for becoming who you are now." He continued, "Since you were 11 you've been telling me how your dream was to get into the Academy of Techmaturgy in Piltover, it seems nearly impossible but, you haven't given up. I'm proud of you for that, I have no doubt, I know that one day you'll be accepted into it." 

The only word Viktor could mouth out was "Wow..." he had no idea his dad had felt that way, he knew internally he was proud of him, he just didn't know it was that much. 

"Have fun on your date tomorrow son." He winked.
