Not Guilty[UNDERGOING CONTRUCTION]

Chapter 2

We walked through the mall doors, and got a huge whiff of Panda Express.

"Where do you think the guys are?" Sage questioned me.

I shrugged my shoulders and said,"I will call Cory." And pulled out my phone. They both looked at me, smiling, which made me blush. Cory and I have been best friends since we were seven years old. We literally did everything together. We never thought we would be something more.

*FLASHBACK TO MONTH BEFORE*

"Hey Everybody! Let's play spin the bottle!!" Megan said. We all began to make a circle on the grass outside. It was nine o'clock at night, so it was fairly dark.

We started playing and had a lot of fun. It was my turn. I spun the bottle, eagerly waiting for it to stop. It started slowing down and finally landed on Cory.

"Come here, butthead." I called him standing up and walking over to him. We kissed and it was amazing. We sat back down and kept playing.

At midnight, my dad texted me saying I needed to go home. I leaned over and told Sage and Jess.

"Okay goodnight," they said at the same time and nodded their heads.

I got up and walked over to Megan,"I had a lot of fun, thanks for inviting me," I said smiling and started walking away.

"Wait!" I heard somebody yell. I spun around to see who it was, it was Cory.

"I'll walk you home," he smiled and we started walking. Ten minutes later we got to my front door. I was digging through my purse looking for my keys.

"Hey... Ummm.... Skai?" Cory said scratching the back of his head.

"What's up?" I asked after pulling out the keys and looking at him.

"I... I was wondering if...." He trailed off.

"Come on Cory, just say it. You know you can ask me anything."

"Okay, okay. I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me? Like be my girlfriend?" He asked, relaxing once he finally said it.

I looked at him, and hesitated for a second then answered," I would love to."

"Great, I will talk to you tomorrow. Goodnight!" He answered running off.

***END OF FLASKBACK***

"Hello?" Cory answered as if he didn't look at who was calling.

"Hey Cory, we just got here where are you?"

"Ummm... We are by the smoothie place."

"Okay, we will be there in a minute." I said before ending the call.

I started walking to the smoothie parlor and saw Zac, Cory, and Lance sitting at a table. They were laughing and having a good time.

"Hey, are you guys coming or what?" Jess asked them.

"You scared me Jess," Lance stated.

"Sorry." She said as her, Sage, Zac, and Lance started walking off.

Cory walked over to me. He kissed me cheek and put his arm around me. We started talking.

"Hey lovebirds!! Are you coming or what?" Zac yelled to us.

"We will catch up!" Cory yelled as we slowly started walking.
