Not Guilty[UNDERGOING CONTRUCTION]

Chapter 5

Jess's POV

The door opened letting us see the man. He was pointing a gun at us in one hand and a bright flashlight in the other.

"Get out. Single file line. First Zac, then Sage, Jess, and Lance. Skai and Cory will stay here." He said looking at the four of us.

We did as we were told. I looked at Skai with fear. She nodded her head letting me know they will be alright.

"Zac keep walking until you get to the front door." The man said. He pointed to a green door.

The house looked abandoned. Its white paint was peeling off. I looked around seeing fields of corn. There has got to be at least 30 acres.

The man told Skai to behave or else and then followed behind Lance. He took us inside of the house, telling Zac to go straight and at the end of the hall turn left. We followed in a line, slowly.

I was trying to not cry, because that is all this man wants. Sage kept looking at me, she was almost in tears. I wish I could tell her we would be alright but that would be a lie. Zac tried to be strong but I could hear him whimpering. And Lance, he just had the look of fear, pain, anger, and revenge on his face.

He took us into a basement where he chained each on of us on a different wall. There was nothing but our tears and pain in the room.

"I'm going to go get Skai and Cory now. Behave, or there will be consequences." He said before walking out of the room.

I heard about 5 small clicks once he shut the door, I guess we are locked in. I looked around the room at my friends. I guess we were all so scared, that we forgot he took the duck tape off if our mouths.

Sage was crying on the wall across from me, Lance was looking at me with a worried look, and Zac was staring at the ceiling lost in his thoughts. But me, I was just worried about Skai and Cory. I had no clue what was happening and I probably never will.
