It's Fury's fault

Steve's POV

"Onyx."

That was the last word anyone had ever heard from the brown-haired boy in our thief's arms.

The other boy, Onyx, cried as he watched his lover die. I knew how that felt. I watched Bucky fall off that train. I wanted to help the kid. I really did but we had orders from Fury. Catch and Contain. We needed to get hold of Onyx and put him in a containment unit. Obviously, we needed to put Thunder and the baby in one too.

Wait. The baby.

Tony went and put the hand restraints on Onyx. They were the same kind that we had used on Loki. It should block out his magic. He started yelling at the agents, thrashing around to try and make it harder for them to contain him. Tears were running down his face as he was pulled away from Leo.

Wanda went over there and quickly picked up the baby, carrying him over to her twin. Clint was helping Natasha up, making sure she was okay after being hit with a pan.

"She's fine. Somebody get Thunder." The other boy was still sitting by Violet, a few tears managed to escape. Bucky walked over to him and put his hand on Thunder's shoulder.

3rd person

"Will you come with us?" No response. He didn't move. He sat there, staring at two of his best friends. They're dead. It's Fury's fault.

"Please Thunder."

"Fine." The blond stood up, following Bucky to where he and Leo would stay.

A containment unit. Neither of them knew that Charlie wouldn't be joining them.
