Then somebody's phone starts ringing in Jordan's pocket. She pulls out both of our phones and checks them. "What you got my phone for?" I asked making her look up at me smiling. "Because, what's yours is mines, and what's mines is yours." She said smiling a dumb, cute smile. "Oh my lawd." I said slapping myself in the face and shaking my head. Jordan answers the call on her phone and looks up at me confused. "Nigga, no shit I'm with Kk. Who tf would I be with? Obama?" she said with a duh face. "Bro she can't even hear you, just say it." She said putting rolling her eyes.
Jordan's pov
"Bro she can't even hear you, just say it." I said knowing Kk probably can hear her because i'm all up on her. "Then facetime me then." Karli said knowing I was all up on Kk. "For?" I asked not trying to facetime her because I really don't wanna move from Kk. "Bro just do it." Karli said making me roll mh eyes. "Ight, fine then." I said face timing her. She answered. "See, I knew you was all up on her. Go to a different room or something. This stuff is personal." Karli said and I noticed she was in a bathroom, meaning she obviously didn't want Moni to hear this either. I looked up at Kayloni, basically asking for permission to go, and she just looked at me with an 'idc, do what you want.' Type of face. "I groaned, kinda hoping she would tell me to stay with her, but she obviously didn't. I got up and walked into the bathroom closing the door. "Hurry up and tell me before I die from lack of Kk." I say, obviously not amused in what she had to tell me. "Armoni just told me that Kk's last girlfriend was in a gang or something, and was abusive. And so when Kk finally had enough and left her, she got her gang to help kidnap Kayloni and torcher her." She said all a little fast, but slow enough to where I could understand her. "Tell me you're joking." I say shocked asf. "I wish I could. She said they burned her with lighters and cut into her thighs, and she stayed being tortured for two days because her mom was abusive too and didn't care to go look for her, so Armoni and Kk's brother went and called the police." When I heard this, I didn't even know wheat to say. I just sat there with a shocked expression on my face. Was this what was wrong with her in the shower? Why didn't she tell me? I mean we did just meet like last week. But why did she trust me enough to love her like I do after all of that? Why would someone want to do that to her? I have so many questions that i'm not gonna ask her. "Hellooo?" Karli yelled into the phone, snapping me out of my trance. "Imma kill whoever that is when I find out who they are and where they're at." I said honestly. "Woahhhh, chill bro. That was a whole like 2 years ago." She said making me look at her like she's crazy. "Do I look like I give a fuck?!?" I say looking at her like she's dumb. "I'm just saying, we can't be having you in jail." Karli said making me smack my lips at her. "ight bro." I said pissed asf because why in the hell would someone do that? To Kayloni?!? "Don't tell nobody. I really wasn't supposed to tell you." Karli said looking at me serious. "Nigga you don't tell nobody. Don't nobody need to know my girl's business." I said with an attitude making Karli laugh. "ight bro. Talk to you later." She said about to hang up. "Yeah, don't call me no more. This is me and Kk time, not me and Karli time. I said making her laugh again. I hung up in her face because I need to go be back on my wife. I walk out the bathroom mad ash until I see Kk sleep on the bed. I smile walking up to the bed and taking a picture of her sending it to Karli. I get in the bed and spoon Kk. I kiss her cheek telling her goodnight even if she can't hear me. "Goodnight bae, I love you." I said before falling asleep.
I woke up out of no where, right before I was finna kiss Kk in my dream. Bro I hate ts. I look down to see Kk laying on my chest, sleeping peacefully. I look at the clock on the bedside table and see the time 3:33 am on it. I just look back at Kk and stare at her for a while. She's so beautiful. I notice a scar on her cheek, right under her eye, where she was cut. I put my hand on her cheek and rub the scar with my thumb. A soft, little smile appears on her face at my touch, which makes me smile to myself. I swear i'm gonna find out who did this to her. And they ain't finna like me. I stare at her for longer and feel myself getting tired. I give her a kiss on her lips and drift off back to sleep.
Kayloni's pov
I woke up in the morning laying on Jordan's chest. I slowly got up, making sure not to wake up Jordan. I get up brushing my teeth and doing my skin care, etc. Then I go out to the truck and head to the donut shop getting us food. I head back to the house going up to my room after setting the food on the table. When I walk in my room and immediately get suffocated by something called Jordan. "Where was you?" She asked putting kisses all over my face. "I went and got food while you was sleep." I said smiling at her. "Why'd you not wake me up?" She asked putting her arms around my waist. "You looked so peaceful, I wasn't finna ruin your sleep." I said putting my arms around her neck. "Next time don't go nowhere without me, youn know what could happen." she said sliding her hand down to by butt gripping my ass in her hand making me jump a little and laugh. "My bad, i'll make sure I won't go to the donut shop without you no more. I said laughing. "Unt uh, I don't mean just the donut shop. I mean everywhere." She said smiling at me. Her delulu ass😂. "Ok then, i'll make sure I don't go no where without you no more." I said looking in her eyes. "Good." she said leaning in and kissing me.

"Baeeeee!" I yelled at Kayloni from downstairs. "Yeahh?" She asked "C'mere" I yelled on the couch. She came down the stairs and walked into the living room, standing in front of me. I looked up from my phone and up at her. When I seen her I jus started smiling. "What you needed?" she asked putting her hands on her hips.

"I missed youuuu." I said grabbing her waist and pulling her onto me, making her straddle me. "We literally was in the same house the whole time." she told me playfully rolling her eyes, making me laugh. "Ma, you tryna go to the water park?" I asked with my face in her neck. "Yeah, let me call and see if Moni and Karli wanna go." she said about to get up and look for her phone but I pulled her back on my lap and gave her her phone out of my pocket. "Why is MY phone always in YOUR pocket?" she asked pointing her fingers. "Because the only reason you really need this phone is so you can call and text me. And why would you need to do that when you're already with me?" I said putting my head back in her neck. "Whatever," she said laughing. I'm dead serious, but imma let her have it this time. She called Moni and asked and I really wasn't paying attention to what they was saying because I was too busy on kissing my girlfriend. She's my girlfriend, that's not my girlfriend, but is most definitely my girlfriend. Yk? She finally got off the phone and told me that they said yeah and to go get ready.
