"Criston dont give me that forlorn look. I'm ready to pop, Rhaenyra is popping, Alicent is popping. I can't-" Aislynn remarked waving a hand at him. 

"I didnt say anything." Criston countered. 

"Your look, your steps. You are stepping aggressively..." Aislynn spun around to face him. "Tell me you didnt fuck her-"

"No." Criston assured. 

"Then what?" Aislynn demanded. 

"Jace." 

"Criston!" 

"I'm sorry. I wasnt going to say anything but you brought it up-"

"I really didnt." Aislynn countered. 

"It's a boy." Arthur shouted out. "Amoret!" 

"Where is his voice coming from?" Aislynn countered looking around. Arthur's voice seemed to echo. 

"IT'S A BOY! ALICENT HAD A BOY!" Arthur shouted. 

""WHERE ARE YOU?" Aislynn demanded. 

"UP! LOOK UP!" Arthur called down. Aislynn looked up to see Arthur dangling over the railing. 

"Be careful Art!" Aislynn demanded. 

"What's that? I"m going to lean in a little closer!" Arthur teased. 

"Father did you hear Arthur bellowing?" Aislynn questioned seeing Otto approaching, he looked up from his scroll and blinked back at her.  "A boy." Otto touched her stomach confused. "Alicent!" Aislynn slapped his bicep. 

"Oh sorry, I didnt get any sleep last night. My brain just isnt with it." Otto remarked. "alicent had a boy? Thats wonderful, where is she?" 

"In her chambers I'm guessing. I'm heading that way... tell me something scandalous keeping you up?" Aislynn pondered. Otto scoffed. 

"A book. A great book." Otto countered. 

"Boring." Aislynn agreed. 

"I fell asleep well after midnight, drank half a bottle of wine-"

"So the book got better because you were drunk, that makes more sense." Aislynn teased. 

"Oh you," Otto tsked as she linked her arm with him. 

"Where is Tommy? Have you seen him?" Aislynn questioned. "I dont know when I'm going to pop but when I do I need him with me."

"Aislynn its really not proper." Otto reminded her. 

"And Tommy keeps me from getting up and murdering the maester for telling me stupid ass shit, like push, and breathe." Aislynn countered. "It's better for our healthcare professionals if Tommy is there so I dont murder while delivering life into the world. But maybe thats how the Gods intended it." AIslynn offered. 

"I dont follow." Otto countered cautiously. 

"When life is brought into the world, the scales must even out with a death. A life leaving the world." Aislynn clarified.

"No. We will find Tommy." Otto decided. 

"Good answer." Aislynn agreed. 

"The princess delivered a baby." Aislynn spun around. 

"Boy or girl?" Aislynn questioned. 

"Dont know yet, shes still pushing, but I wanted to be the first to tell everyone." 

"Idiot and if she dies in birth and you were all chipper?" Aislynn hissed. 

"Oh I..." 

"Right, you didnt think. Last time there was a celebration and declarations before the baby came death, death happened and lots of it!" Aislynn hissed. 

"You feeling alright your grace?" Criston questioned. 

"Fucking find me Tommy!" Aislynn demanded. Criston ran off. 

"You are a bit more... more than usual." Otto agreed. "Should we rest?" 

"No I want to find... fuck..." Aislynn griped. 

"Lets sit." Otto suggested at her labored breaths. 

"I want to see Ali." Aislynn countered. "I need to... check on her... and the..." aislynn breathed in and out deeply, she felt like her baby was pressing on her lung, more likely pressing on her ribs and her ribs were bending in poking into her lungs. "Baby." Aislynn rasped. "Get Viserys... I dont want him with me but just... tell him." 

"I'm not leaving you." Otto countered. 

"This is my... fifth... should come quick." Aislynn offered hopefully. "Should just fall right out. Rhaenyra will be laboring for hours... Alicent was laboring for hours and into today. This is my fifth. It will just slip right out when my water breaks." Aislynn decided it now. This was going to be a quick and easy birth. 

"Remind me when I think that sex is a good idea, that I dont like-"

"I'm never going to be near you when you are considering such things with the king." Otto cut in. 

"Good point." Aislynn agreed. "I dont like being pregnant, the last moon really sucks." 

"Yes, your mother never liked the final moons." Otto agreed. 

"Just slip right out... or kill me." Aislynn reasoned. 

"Dont think such ways." Otto demanded. "You are strong." 

"This baby is not Strong." Aislynn teased leaning into him. 

"You are fine." Otto assured. "Your sense of humor is still intact." 

"Daddy?" AIslynn whispered. 

"Yes honey?" 

"Find me Tommy..." Aislynn requested calmly. "Now." She demanded harshly. 

"Ser Criston-"

"My water broke. I need him." Aislynn added. "Find him... now." Otto looked to the puddle at her feet. 

"We need to find you a maester." Otto countered. "The queen-"

"Tommy," Aislynn sobbed out as he ran to her. 

"Thats what I get for trying to get the nursery ready, too much dragons not enough magic." Tommy remarked hugging her gently. "Lets go have a baby."  Tommy requested helping her. 

"Lets go have a baby.'' Aislynn agreed. 

Aislynn was right it was her fastest pregnancy. She was surprised at how fast the baby came, slipped right out it seemed like there was a count down. Ten pushes. 

Push, the first extremely painful as though the baby was changing his mind. No he liked it in here. The second was still painful. But the third and fourth started to move, the head had breeched. Fifth and sixth the little head shot through. Seven and eight the shoulders. Push nine felt like she was shitting herself and then the last push. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two... one... blast off, a new baby had landed in Aislynn's arms. 

"Congratulations your grace. Its a boy."

Aislynn stared at the little boy as he was placed in her arms. She looked at his hair and smiled.

"Hello handsome."
