Kim understood the true meaning of the above phrase, which basically shattered him to the core when he experienced it first-hand. It was one of the wildest experience and it still makes his heart breaks whenever he thinks about it.
It has been exactly 2 years since the incident, since the break up with his Angel, 2 years since the bitter incident, the incident that Kim regrets till now.
Kim is at his office, he is completing the deal with Lee's company, one of their biggest business partners. Kim adjusted his reading glass and continued to type on his laptop vigorously. The only sound that resonates in the huge office room is the tapping of the keyboard and the occasional sip of frappuccino, a drink that Kim got addicted to thanks to his sweet Angel. Kim was never the one who loved sweet stuff but after his boyfriend, then boyfriend, bought the drink for Kim, his treat he says as it was always Kim the one who always splurges money on their dates. Kim sipped the beverage thinking it would repulse his tastebuds but his eyes widened when the bitter and sweet taste of the beverage hit his tongue and danced making Kim take sip after sip without complaint.

Kim smiled sadly while looking at the picture frame on his office table beside the supposed engagement ring of Kim and Porchay. It is a picture of Kim and Porchay during their first date. They looked so happy, carefree and so in love. The taste of frappuccino tastes so bitter now. Kim has no one but himself to blame. He ruined everything, he ruined his precious relationship, he ruined Porchay who hates Kim more than anything and he even refused to fly back home afraid that Kim would be there. It has been 2 years since Porchay returned to Thailand. He tried to reach Porchay many times but it all went in vain, the younger man refused to see nor talk to Kim. He has been clear that he wants nothing more with Kim.
