"So? Who are you?," I asked the boy. I was genuinely curious about why this country boy was here and stealing my friends and I's spotlight. He took a few minutes to get a good look at my friends and I. "Take a picture. It'll last longer," Diamond sneered at him.
"Um, I'm Travis Moore. My family and I are here on business with a top-notch company. I'm going to be spending my senior year here in Manhattan," he said confidently. "What company?," Sasha asked kindly. "Abbs Inc. ", he replied unsurely.
Oh heck to the nah, he did not just name my father's company. "That's my father's company," I exclaimed, "Why is your family here on business with my father's company," I questioned the Travis boy. "Your dad owns a bunch of hotels right," he asked me. I nodded hastily. He needed to speed this up. I actually want to get to class on time. "Well, my family owns a farm-," he started. "Hmmm... Figures...," I interrupted. I mean really, he looks like a country boy. Why wouldn't he own a farm? "Like I was saying before I got rudely interrupted, your dad needed a new farm to supply steak and all that fancy jazz. We're one of the biggest farms in the world," he explained.
Ugh I'm going to kill dad.
"I think he's cool," Tommy persisted. "No one cares what you think Thomas!," I yelled as Tommy flinched. "Gosh, is it the time of the month or what," he questioned. I scoffed and went to lunge at him but Nate got in my way. "Kiki calm down," Sasha tried to reason with me. I took a deep breath and told Travis, "I don't care who you are or why you're here anymore. So just stay out of our way, don't talk to us, and stop being the center of attention." "Uh-", he started.
"Don't. Just don't."
"I'm sorry about her," Sasha told him. "No you aren't," I murmured as she gave me a glare. If looks could kill, I would already be 6 feet deep. "Sorry," I muttered as I turned on my heel to go to my class. "Bye guys," I yelled back at them. "Bye Kiki," they all yelled unison.
I can't believe some cowboy can just waltz -no square dance-, into Southern Heights High School. If he thinks he can just waltz - oops, square dance- into here. Then when the year is over, just square dance on out unscarred then he has another thing coming for him. I will bring him down and if I go down, which is highly impossible, he will come down with me. If I ever see him again, it will be too soon.

The school day was the same old. Still boring. I mean it is the middle of October. The only good part of October is the upcoming Halloween Party hosted by the Worthingtons. Today was very eventful. Turns out the cowboy is in all of my classes and the boys accepted him against my wishes. Apparently now, he's part of our group. To top it all off, he freaking touched me. I know right. Can you believe it? Now I have nasty cowboy germs. EWWIE! Just kidding. I really don't care that he touched me, I'm not that immature. Plus it's not like he has cooties. Right? Right? Oh well.
Now I'm in Sasha's car and she's driving me home. We're almost there and I will do anything to have the power to be able to fly away. I mean, anything beats a lecture by Sasha. "Kiki you could've been nicer. I get that maybe he needs a new wardrobe if he's gonna go to SHHS. He's a cowboy, but besides those facts he's in our group and you should treat him with respect. Can you just try to get along with him?," She lectured. I sighed in defeat. "I can try," I muttered. "Great! Now get out we're at your house," she laughed with much needed enthusiasm. "Fine, fine. I'm going," I giggled with her as I walked to my door. "Love you girl," she yelled as she was backing out of my driveway. Love you too," I yelled back as I opened my front door. "Hey fam, I'm home!," I shouted. "Keaira! There you are," my dad exclaimed. "Hey dad, do you know anything about the Moore fam-," I started.
"Keaira, did I mention I got you a present?"
"Present?"
"Yes, a present," he said as he gave me a purple box with a finely made white bow. "Can I open it?" I said curiously. "Go ahead," he said with excitement. I opened the box in a lady-like way. Mom would be proud. Where is mom? I'll figure it out later. In the box were keys to the exact Lambo I wanted. "OMG, DAD, THANK YOU SO MUCH! OMG! OMG!" I screamed as I threw my arms around my dad and gave him a hug. "Your welcome Keaira," he chuckled. "But there's a catch." Ugh a catch. I just got my car and now there's a catch. "You have to share it," he said nervously. "What! Share it! With who? Austin? He already has a car! A Maserati in perfect working condition!" I said very close to losing it. "No, not your brother. A guest. He's going to be going to your school and he lives far away. He will be living with us until the end of the year. His sister will live with us too. Austin will drive her seeing as they go to the same school too," he explained to me. I took a couple deep breaths. I really needed to calm down. Whew!
