"Turn left."
"Turn right."
"Keep straight."
"God, Travis. How much longer? I've been driving for an hour," I whined, following Travis' driving directions.
"Just keep going."
I glance at him quickly before turning my eyes back to the road.
"No," I said stubbornly, making a quick U-turn, parking on the side of the road.
"What are you doing Keaira," he asked, "We need to get to the place."
"Just tell me how much longer."
He sighed. "It's just a couple blocks away."
I look around scrutinizing the area. We're so into the countryside that there are no 'blocks'. Just vast areas of fields, plains, and farm land.
I sighed and got back on the road. For all I know, one block could be miles long.

"Turn into this driveway. There you go sweetheart. We're here," Travis muttered.
I practically jump out of the car and run towards the huge, red barn.
He laughs following after me.
I stop and wait for him when I get to the locked barn doors.
I look back to see him walking as slow as a snail.
"C'mon cowboy! My grandpa moves faster than that. And he's dead," I snap.
He notices that I'm being serious and jogs over to me.
He takes off a chain around his neck that had a key on it from under his shirt and unlocks the barn door.
"This is where we keep our prized animals," he whispered.
When he opened the door, I finally realized how big the barn actually was.
There were cows, horses, and even pigs.
He started walking me down the barn. He showed me where the animals where and sometimes told me a stories about certain animals that lived there.
I didn't listen to him until we got to a beautiful black mare.
I stopped to stare at her as Travis kept walking.
He turned back around when he noticed I wasn't walking aside him.
He came to a stop next to me with a soft smile, gazing at the horse.
"That's Stella."
I looked at him. Then turned back to her.
"Why is she so... Fat," I not-so-subtly questioned.
He generously laughed saying, "She's pregnant. A little girl. Has a couple months left. But she's in here because she's a good racehorse."
