"You'd think he'd run out of rocks," Percy mumbled.

"Clarisse must really be a catch for him to be fighting this hard," I said.

"Die," was all she said to me.

"Swim for it!" Grover said.

"(Name)," Percy called, and I immediately understood.

"On it," I nodded, lifting myself off of the ground and plucking Annabeth from Clarisse's shoulder. I then began to fly at a decent speed towards the Queen Anne's Revenge whole Clarisse and Grover dove into the water, swimming wildly towards the ship.

"Can't go any faster?" Annabeth quietly asked.

I double-checked to make sure that the Golden Fleece was wrapped tightly around her. It was a struggle carrying both her weight and the weight of the Fleece while feeling so fatigued, but I'd rather be tired than Annabeth be dead.

"Not right now," I admitted. "This is fast enough though. Percy and Tyson will distract Polyphemus until we can all make it to the ship. Oh, and sorry that it's me instead of Percy that's carrying you around so much."

In any other situation, she probably would have cut me for that, but I had to get my jabs in somehow.

We made it to the Queen Anne's Revenge and gently landed on the deck. I kicked the ladders down for Grover and Clarisse while holding Annabeth—I didn't want to put her down and let my guard down until I was sure that we were in the clear.

Once those two got onboard, they started frantically waving at Percy, urging him to come on now that we were all here.

I winced as I saw Polyphemus tear an olive tree from the ground and speak for a moment before swinging it into Tyson, sending him dragging through the sand. Percy jumped at him and was swung at with the very same tree. He barely avoided, getting scraped across the back and arms with branches.

Polyphemus swung the tree again, but Percy was ready this time and grabbed a branch as it passed by him. He was jerked into the air from the sudden pull. He let go at the apex of of the arc and fell, landing with both feet on the Cyclops already damaged eye.

Polyphemus roared out in pain and Tyson tackled him, pulling him to the ground. Percy landed next to them, his sword extremely close to piercing Polyphemus's heart. He looked like he was about to do it for a second, too, but then Tyson pushed the elder Cyclops away and the two ran for the surf.

"I will smash you!" Polyphemus yelled, doubling over and cupping his hands over his eye in obvious pain. "Where are you?" Picking up his tree club and throwing it, resulting in it splashing in the water.

Little did he know that Percy and Tyson were already in the ocean and speeding through the water like torpedoes.

I allowed myself to get a bit hopeful, but then Clarisse decided to open her mouth.

"Yeah Jackson!" She cheered. "In your face, Cyclops!"

"What are you doing?!" Grover whisper-yelled at her, nervous sweat shining on his brow more then the seawater did.

I would've tackled her or something to shut her up if not for my current passenger, who, even with her injuries, looked at Clarisse like she was stupid.

"Rarrrr!" Polyphemus picked up another boulder from his seemingly infinite supply and launched it in our direction. Luckily, it was off and splashed into the water near us.

"Yeah, yeah!" Clarisse taunted. "You throw like a wimp! Teach me to try marrying you, idiot!"

"Stop!" Grover nicely put it.
