37. Selfish

"He fucks good cause I made him bad. Patient cause I made him be. Perfect doesn't come for free" Aislynn remarked. Alicent chuckled. "I have been meaning to tell you that if you and... -Criston-" she coughed out. "-wanted to... have some... time together. I can get the teas..." Alicent's eyes went wide. "What? You havent thought about it?" 

"Of course i have." Alicent admitted. "but I would never, he would never. He is a man of honor and-"

"Smitten with you." Aislynn agreed. There was a knock on the door and Aislynn chuckled getting up. 

"He's not... he doesnt." Alicent corrected as Amelia and Helaena played dress up, dancing around the room. 

"Lord Larys, what can i do for you?" Aislynn questioned. 

"A raven came for your husband." Larys answered holding it out. 

"I didnt know you were a raven." Aislynn mused taking it from him. "Thanks." 

"What does it say?" Alicent questioned as Aislynn rejoined her. 

"It's a lannister sigil, so nothing good." Aislynn assured. "Or maybe Jason is dead."

"That would also be bad." Alicent countered. 

"Meh," Aislynn shrugged. She read it over. "Not dead. Worse." 

"Worse than Tyland's twin dying?" Alicent countered. 

"Johanna Lannister had a son." Aislynn agreed. 

"Oh..." Alicent understood. Their father had pushed them to be the best because he was a second born son and wanted the best for his children even if his methods were a bit... off. 

"I have to tell Ty." Aislynn remarked. She moved to Amelia kissing the top of her head. "You and Hela going to play for a while longer?" 

"Yes. I have three more outfits to try on before we go play outside." Amelia agreed. Helaena nodded in agreement. Aislynn glanced to Alicent. 

"Yes I know, they are us." Alicent agreed. 

"Mama, mama,' amelia declared holding tight to her hand. "You help me with my necklace? I need my lion one." Aislynn nodded moving to the dresser and picking up the lannister necklace that Tyland had gotten Amelia. He had them made special for Aislynn and Amelia only two like it in the world. Amelia touched Aislynn's matching necklace smiling up at her. 

"Perfect." Aislynn remarked framing her face with her hair before heading out. "Be right back!" She called back. 

You would've thought King was born the way the Lannisters celebrated when Jason finally had a son.

Loreon. They named him Loreon. 

Tyland was less than happy about the situation. Of course, he was happy for his brother but if Jason died and he had no sons, Tyland would've been the heir to Casterly rock.

It was selfish and another dream of his, a dream he was sure if he voiced Aislynn would have handled Jason easily enough. But now it didnt matter. Jason had a son and Tyland had to be sufficed in the fact that he was master of ships. 

"I'm sorry Ty." Aislynn remarked. 

"It's fine, I'm happy for him." Tyland countered. 

"You dont have to lie to me." Aislynn corrected. 

"I'm pissed." Tyland admitted. "Jason is... Gods and he just-" 

"Let it out." Aislynn agreed rubbing his back. 

"And I- but he was always- Gods then mother-" Tyland wasnt making any sense but Aislynn nodded along, she took it to mean. Jason is awful, he was always mothers favorite and I was to break something. 

"I have some good news that might... make you feel better." Aislynn remarked kissing along his hairline. 

"What?" Tyland questioned, his breath heavy down the bodice of her dress as he held her. 

"I'm pregnant again." Aislynn remarked. Tyland smiled back at her. 

"Really?"

"I know, after all my talk of-" Aislynn began but he silenced her with a kiss. "I love you. I dont care if you are not first born and heir to casterly rock. I chose you. I chose you and I would choose you time and time again, Ty." Aislynn assured. 

"Thank you." Tyland answered their lips meeting again and again. He brought a hand to her stomach. "I want another little girl, perfect like Amelia." Tyland admitted. 

"Either way you know Amelia is going to dress this baby up and carry him or her around like a doll." Aislynn countered. 

"Good point." Tyland agreed. "Thank you for being so wonderful Aislynn." 

"You are my person, Ty. Whatever you need. I'm here for you."
