Aleks continues staring at the wall in front of her as the door opens and Alexei enters. She sits against the bed next to Yelena, their shoulders touching.
"We came in here because we didn't want to talk." Yelena tells him as he shuts the door behind him.
"Okay. We, uh... We just sit." He says. He sits on the corner of the bed, holding his helmet. After a while he begins telling a story. "So, there I am ice fishing with my father. It's very cold day in this little ice shed. Cold even for Russia, you know?" He says, as Yelena and Aleks take turns drinking from the bottle. "'Keep the vodka by the fire', my father would say to me."
"Please stop talking." Yelena interrupts.
"Please wait. Please wait." He pleads as she tells him no. "There is a reason why I'm telling you this, okay? Trust me." Yelena sets the bottle back on the bedside table. "I am reaching for fish. Oh! I lose balance. Ah! Splash! My hands go in the river."
Aleks and Yelena scoff, annoyed that he won't shut up. Aleks leans her head on her twin's shoulder, letting her eyes close.
"In this weather, frostbite sets in quick. My father, he go toilet on my hands." He continues.
"Oh, my God." Yelena groans, covering her face with her hands and shaking her head.
"Urine is 25 degrees Celsius, staves off the frostbite." He explains.
"How is this relevant?" She asks.
"You know, fathers." He says.
"You're an idiot." Aleks scoffs, shaking her head.
"You have done nothing but tell us how bored you were. We were a chore, a job you didn't want to do. To us? To us, you were everything." She tells him. He continues staring at the two, his expression not changing. "Exactly. You don't care. You don't care. The only thing you care about are your stupid glory days as the Crimson Dynamo, and no one wants to hear about it."
"It's the Red Guardian." He whispers after a moment of silence.
"Get out." Aleks snaps, glaring at the wall.
"Get out!" Yelena repeats, raising her voice. Alexei sighs and takes a few steps away from the bed. He starts singing the words to American Pie, moving to sit on the couch on the other side of the room. The twins chuckle as he continues singing, joining in.
Suddenly, the room is filled with light from outside. They stand and look outside, seeing the house surrounded.
"Get down." Alexei tells them, putting his helmet back on. They crouch next to the bed and watch as he prepares himself. Before he can take a step, the window shatters and a dart pierces his chest. "They think..." He scoffs, trailing off as multiple fly through the window and stick out of his chest.
He falls onto his back and the twins grab each of his hands, staring at the darts in his chest. Yelena yanks her twin up and pushes her onto the other side of the doorway, drawing her gun. They open the doors and keep their guns ready as they move out of the room.
The twins reach the hall and spot Natasha on the ground. Yelena crouches to check for a pulse, as Aleks keeps an eye out. Melina leaves her armory, now dressed in a suit of her own. The twins lower their guns as she looks at them.
"I'm sorry." She says, raising her arms and firing her widow bites at them, knocking them out.

Aleks wakes to Yelena shaking her and she groans, pushing her away. She looks around, unfamiliar with her surroundings. She spots the medical equipment and the lines on her twin's forehead.
"Those motherfuckers were going to cut our brains out?" She scoffs as Yelena wipes her face clean, doing the same to her own when she's finished.
"You couldn't have told me sooner?" Yelena asks as she puts on her vest as they leave the room. Aleks looks at her questioningly and she taps her hear, letting her know she has an earpiece. "Where did he take the vials? Yeah. Sure. Easy."
"I don't like this. I want to know what's going on." She tells her twin. Yelena rolls her eyes and explains what's going on as they make their way up into the vents.

Yelena drops down first, landing in the pose she teases Natasha about. She shudders and moves towards the wall.
"That was disgusting." She mutters as Aleks drops down behind her.
They pause as they reach the corner, hearing a guard ahead. Yelena quickly takes him out and they drag his body closer to press his hand to the scanner on the wall. They enter the lab and find the vials.
"Melina, we found the location of the vials." She tells her. She listens and nods before turning to her twin. "We have to get to the widows."
As they make their way towards them, an alarm blares and Melina informs Yelena that she destroyed an engine, and they will crash.
"We're heading to the widows now." She replies, quickly telling Aleks what she learned. They enter the training room, finding it empty.
"Shit." Aleks curses. Yelena moves away and quickly creates a bomb with the vials so she can free them all at once.
When the enter Dreykov's office where Natasha was, they find all the widows attacking her. Yelena pulls the pin and throws the vials. They explode midair, freeing all the widows.
"Are you okay?" Aleks asks as she and Yelena rush to Natasha, helping her up.
"That looks like it hurts." Yelena adds, seeing the blade sticking out of her shoulder. "I take out on three, ready?" She immediately rips it out and Natasha grunts, turning to glare at her. "I"m sorry."
"What do we do now?" One of the former widows asks in Finnish.
"Get as far away from here as possible. You get to make your own choices now." Natasha replies.
They hear explosions and the ground shakes. Aleks tightens her grip on her sisters, Yelena doing the same.
"We gotta get outta here." She says.
"We need to find Dreykov. Are you coming?" Yelena asks.
"I'm right behind you." She tells them, approaching the desk as they lead the freed widows away.
They exit, running towards the jet on the landing pad. Aleks loads the widows into the aircraft, holding her hand out towards her twin. Yelena shakes her head.
"Get them out of here. I'll find Natasha." She says. Aleks sighs and darts forward to hug her twin.
"Be careful." She tells her. Yelena nods, squeezing her tight before shoving her back towards the jet and running the other way.
