Agatha's POV:

I can keep going. Fight. Fight. Fight. For Ruby. I duck to avoid an attack.

Swing twice then duck again. Mom is right next to me. She's also attacking.

Keep going Agatha. We can't stop. We have to defeat Nerissa. Nerissa tries to pierce me with the Trident. "Is this all you can do Agatha? Even with a daughter who's buried under rubble somewhere under the sea?" Nerissa snickers. "Fuck you Nerissa," I kick her but she avoids it. Ruby can't be gone. I spin around to avoid another attack. She can't be. However this gave Nerissa the opportunity to attack mother. She makes a turn and uses her trident to trow mother towards an island. Sorry mother, I can't lose focus now. Nerissa is left wide open after that attack. I punch her in the face. It hits. Nerissa stumbles backwards. I keep pushing. Keep moving forward. Behind Nerissa I see something move in the water. Is that another mermaid? Is that- "Got you" I can barely hear it before I hit and pass out against the rocks.

Ruby's POV:

Come on! I'm almost there. I continue to swim as fast as I can towards the water surface which was rippling by now from the fight. Almost! Right as I get out of the water I see my mother getting hit by a powerful swing. "MOM!" She slams into the rocks on an island.

I turn to look at the mermaid who did this. "Nerissa.." She turns to look at me. Her smug smile turns sour. "How are you alive?! and what did you do to Chelsea?!" wait what? "I did something to Chelsea?... Is this some kind of joke?" She's making fun of me. isn't she? How would I even touch Chelsea? I would never be able to hurt her. Nerissa ruined everything. My life, My relationship with my friends and with Chelsea! And she hurt mom.

Anger, Betrayal, Sorrow. all coming at me at once.

I lunge at her and she hits me into the water as if I'm some bug she's trying to shoo away. Glaring at me and pointing her trident at me "Where is Chelsea". "How should i know-" Her face became even sterner "Tell me". Before she could dive her trident deeper towards me Chelsea showed up. "I'm here mom, sorry for being so late" Nerissa turned as fast as the wind. "Where were you?! AND WHY IS SHE ALIVE?" Nerissa pointed to me. Chelsea looked to me over her mothers shoulder. "I thought i killed her...It was a mistake i should have double checked" Nerissa seems dissatisfied with the answer but doesn't say so.

"Alright then and where were you?" Chelsea looks at me again and back to her mother. "I-I Was here all along. just waiting for the right moment to help. I mean you looked like you were doing great! and-' Nerissa seemed beyond dissatisfied now "Fine then, you clearly failed as a daughter and mermaid" Chelsea's face fell "Prove your worth to me. Kill Ruby Gillman right here." What- but she wouldn't right? right? "Chelsea you don't-"

Chelsea's POV:

I zone out. Kill Ruby? This is why I told her to stay away. She should have just listened!

Why couldn't she just listen for once in her life. Kill Ruby? I can't do that?! How would I ever be able to kill her.... "Uhm Chelseaaa, Chelseaa whoo, ooh. You there?" Mother says.

"Yes mother" She hands me the trident and backs away. "Well good luck!" I look at Ruby.

She still hasn't stood up. She's hopeless and looks absolutely amazing in purple, wait what.

"Are you really going to kill me?" Ruby asked. Why do you have to look at me like that?

No answer from me. Ruby stands up and gets ready to fight. "Alright then.."

She lunges at me.
