Lingering feelings of love lost and forgotten,
Float aimlessly in my mind.
I want to go back to the very beginning;
Wish that I could turn back time.
I've been a broken, wandering soul,
And felt incomplete for so many years until the day that you came along.
You captured my attention immediately on the first day of class,
When you stood at the front and sang that particular song.
A song filled with precious memories,
And my mom's final sculpture of a young boy that I hold close to my heart.
I can still feel her warmth when I hold it,
Like a part of me knew you and I were connected right from the very start.
I feel the same warmth now when I gaze deeply into your eyes.
The intensity of my feelings for you initially took me by surprise.
But now I know that my love will only continue to expand over time.
And I won't allow anyone to interfere with us,
Because You are Mine.
My constant jealousy makes me act irrationally sometimes,
But that's because you've become my shelter, comfort, and my home.
And with you by my side now,
I know that I'll never be alone.
I was lost but now I'm found;
You anchor my once wandering soul solidly to the ground.
You make me a better person,
Just by staying by my side.
You're my favorite ride, my personal North Star, and my most trusted guide.
Please let me be the person to grant your wish of a love that is not shared,
For I will always belong to you.
There's no limit to the lengths that I'll go to secure your happiness,
And I'll never allow you to feel lonely or blue.
I promise to protect you with everything I have until my very last breath.
And nothing will ever separate us,
Not even time or death.
We're two parts of a whole;
Two hearts sharing one soul.
I can finally say Goodbye to my Lonely Heart,
Because together we will always find a way.
To cherish and take care of each other,
now and forever, every single day.
So, please continue to Stay With Me,
And let's live out our endless story.

Author's Note: To everyone that has finished reading my poem, thank you soooo much! 🤧 I hope that you enjoyed it and that it evoked feelings within afterwards. After watching Stay With Me, the absolute love and devotion that Wu Bi had for Su Yu kept replaying in my head. Wu Bi was willing to sacrifice his entire existence just to keep Su Yu happy and safe. Su Yu is his found family and soulmate. I hope my poem, written in the form of a love confession from Wu Bi to Su Yu, captured these sentiments.💗
