I stared out the car window on that rainy night, racing the raindrops while my brother Gavin, Grandpa, and my sister Kirsten spoke to each other about what we should do next weekend when we were all together. It was a family tradition. They talked more about it, as I slowly dozed off. Kirsten got my attention, asking "Hey, any ideas what to do next weekend?", I smiled back at her warmly, "Anything is fine." Kirsten smiled back at me while Gavin rolled his eyes, they both went back to talking to our grandpa about what we would do.
That would be the last time we were all seen together, happy and laughing in that old, white car.
