Batman Arkham Origins - SU Swap

Chapter 1: Pilot

Notes:

While this is an AU/fanfiction, this does contain the actual plot of Batman Arkham Origins. And if you haven't seen or played it, this does contain spoilers. 

And if you're one of those people who say that Arkham Origins isn't canon to the Arkham games, get out.

Anyway, so if you're wondering how this story works (assuming you didn't read the description) this is Arkham Origins but most of Batman's villains are replaced with Steven Universe characters (gems). There are only a few villains who won't be replaced, either because the story wouldn't work the same or they don't need to have a replacement. 

Here's the list of Batman villains who won't be replaced (including other Arkham games as well):

Black Mask (Roman Sionis).
Killer Croc (Waylon Jones).
Mad Hatter(Jervis Tetch). 
Mr. Freeze (Victor Fries, pronounced 'freeze'). 
Ras Al Ghul.
Solomon Grundy (Cyrus Gold).
Harley Quinn.
Victor Zsasz.
The Electrocutioner.
Man-Bat.
Clayface.
Hush (Thomas Elliot).
Copperhead.

And here's all the villains being replaced with Steven Universe characters.

Spinel = The Joker.
Jasper = Bane. 
Pearl = Lady Shiva.
White Diamond = Hugo Strange.
Squaridot = Enigma/The Riddler.
Yellow Diamond = Deathstroke.
Steven Universe = Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
Bluebird Azurite = Firefly.
Rose Quartz = Poison Ivy.
Blue Diamond = Scarecrow.
Holly Blue Agate = Deadshot.

One exception I will make to Steven Universe characters replacing villains is that the Penguin (Oswald Cobblepot) is replaced with a non-Steven Universe character.

Cobblepot is replaced with a character named Huge Gigantacus (Google him if you want to see what he looks like). 

And as far as the real names for the villains will use the voice actors' real names so I don't rack my brain trying to come up with original names.

The following characters will not have a real name (due to the original villains not having a real name):

Spinel.
Jasper.
Pearl.

Huge Gigantacus doesn't have a real name, so he joins the list as well (even though the Penguin has a real name). 

Also, I just want to say this: I do not ship Spinel and Harley Quinn. Anyway, let's go on with this, shall we?

3rd Person P.O.V.

Down in the darkest cave in Gotham City, Bruce Wayne strides to the metallic platforms that provide spacing for the complex machinery and computer monitors stationed here.

"Police and emergency services are urging Gotham residents to stay off the roads and in their homes tonight in light of the severe winter storm warning." One of the monitors speaks, showing the weather reports.

Mr. Wayne switched the channel, which showed a clip of renowned news reporter, Vicki Vale, trying to get an exclusive interview from reclusive billionaire Bruce Wayne.

"No man is an island, Bruce. You've been back for almost two years now, you can't expect me to believe that Gotham's most eligible bachelor is spending another Christmas alone." Ms. Vale tried offering the microphone to him.

Bruce points at his watch. "You just ran out of time." Before he promptly entered his limo.

Mr. Wayne switched the channel again, showing a camera recording the report of Blackgate penitentiary executing their latest prisoner.

"--knowing tonight, we put to rest one of Gotham's most heinous and relentless killers, Julian Gregory Day." Commissioner Loeb announces while standing behind the podium before stepping off.
