SERSI AND THEO
It felt like they'd been walking for hours. The heat didn't make it any better. Sersi was down to just the tank top from underneath the shirt she'd took off more than an hour ago. And she was still hot. They'd been walking for a day now. Only stopped once to take a Power Nap. Well Sersi only. Theo said he wasn't tired and would keep watch. But she knew he was tired. When she woke up he was knocked out against a tree. The two hadn't spoken much since their escape.
Unsure on what to do or say in a situation like this. Separated from their group. Their home gone, and all they were left with was each other.
They had just started getting closer. Theo was silently wishing he'd been stuck with someone else. It was too hard to know it was just them from now on. He missed Apollo. He missed Nila. Hell he even missed Iris and Ayla. But he knew if Sersi wasn't the one he'd gotten stuck with he'd miss her too.
The problem with being stuck with Sersi was that it was only Sersi. No Apollo or Iris to defuse the tension. Now they both had to bask in it too stubborn to be the first to speak.
