Haerin looks around her at the home, noticing water dripping from her hair and clothing. She sighs and mumbles to herself, "I have to study..."

She sighs again and hits her head lightly for being forgetful and a total mess today. She looks around the empty house once more, feeling even more lonely than before. Yet she quickly reminds herself not to waste time and to focus on her studying, putting away her feelings for now.
Haerin walks to the bathroom and removes her soaked clothes, then takes a warm bath in an attempt to keep herself from catching a cold. Once finished, she quickly puts on her home clothes and makes her way back to the living room.
There, she sits down to study once more, hoping to focus on her studies despite the loneliness of the empty house and the pangs of her stomach telling her to eat something.

Haerin stands up from the floor and walks to the kitchen to make something to eat. She fills her stomach with nutritious food in an attempt to keep herself going, knowing she'll need it if she wants to study for long hours. She knows it won't be the most delicious meal ever, given her mother isn't home to cook.
But she doesn't complain, knowing her parents work hard to earn money to support their family.

Haerin rolls her eyes when she sees the notification, not caring at all about what Hanni has to say. Yet she's curious why Hanni is sharing this info with her, so she goes to check who followed her. When she goes to Instagram and sees the new follower named Minji, her eyes widened as she realizes it's the same girl who always hangs out with Danielle. She immediately heads to Minji's page and sees photos of her.

Haerin stares at the photos of Minji and Danielle together and is struck by the unexpected coincidence of their being in the same school and class. She then notices that Minji has 10k followers on Instagram,
which shocks her with its high number. Haerin mumbles to herself, "What a small world... I didn't know she was so popular."
Haerin sets her phone aside and goes back to studying with her tea and small portion of fried kimchi rice. She takes a sip of tea, feeling the warmth spread across her throat, and takes a bite of rice. Despite the comfort of the meal, she feels bored.
