I never knew I loved her

Chapter 6

"Calm down!" Ezekiel said to Rosie while he's driving. Huminahon naman si Rosie.
" So where are you taking me? gusto ko ng umuwi!!."
Rosie said.
Ezekiel did not answer her. He continued driving , at habang nakatutok  ito sa mukha ni Ezekiel bigla nalang bumalik lahat kung saan nagsimula at kung paano nya nagustohan si Ezekiel nakatutok lang sya mukha nito.
Ezekiel noticed it and glanced at Rosie.
" Baka matunaw ako nyan." Ezekiel said.
Then Rosie came back to her senses at nilipat ang tingin sa kalsada at napalunok na lamang ito.
" Iuwi mo na ko. Baka hinahanap nko ng parents ko." mahina nitong sabi kay Ezekiel habang nakayuko tumingin naman si Ezekiel kay Rosie bigla syang nakaramdam ng awa kay Rosie.
" Ayaw mo ba kong makasama?." He broke his silence. Biglang napataas ng noo si Rosie sa narinig nya at tumingin kay Ezekiel.
- Ano bang ngyayari sa lalaking to?
what did he say? tama bang narinig ko??
but before she could say a word..
" Gusto ko kasing magpasamang bumili ng gift and I think matutulongan mo ko. kasi babae ka!" agad na bawi ni Ezekiel he didn't want to give Rosie a hint about his true feelings for her. Still medyo masama parin ang loob nito about the invitation card and the closeness between her and Brian.
Agad namang napangiti sa kahihiyan si Rosie she felt embarrassed
— hahaha! O assuming ka kasi Rosie. nakakahiya ka! gusto lang naman palang magpasamang bumili ng gift para sa gf nya! she was talking about Selene dahil buong akala nya talaga ay gf na ni Ezekiel si Selene. In Ezekiel's words she knew already kung para saan ang gift na gustong bilhin ni Ezekiel.
" Gusto ko ng umuwi, I don't have any good idea sa mga gift2 na yan! tsaka kung sino man yang babaeng reregalohan mo for sure di nya magugustohan kung anong mapipili ko! sa iba ka nlng mag pasama!!" Rosie said she was irritated.
Ezekiel smiled. Seems that Rosie sounds jealous. Rosie don't have any Idea that Ezekiel wants her to buy a gift for her debut even if he was not invited he still wants to buy a gift for her. But he doesn't know what Rosie likes thats why gusto nyang isama si Rosie or makakuha man lang ng any Idea kung anong gusto nya.
" Are you jealous?." Ezekiel asked Rosie and glanced at her
" What?!! Ba't naman ako magseselos? Huh! Dream On Ezekiel De Vierra!
I— ! before Rosie could continue
Ezekiel stop driving at pumarada sa gilid ng kalsada
" Why? Do you hate me now?" Ezekiel asked and his brows are furrowed
Rosie paused for a second and said
" I don't like you anymore Ezekiel. Yung nararamdaman ko sayo noon! wala yun! It's just a puppy love! so don't mind it! Ganun siguro talaga noh mga bata pakasi tayo bigla nalang mawawala yung feelings! tsaka ayaw mo nun? wala ng nggugulo sayo araw araw! wala ng tatawag sayong " My Zeki!!!" you're free now! you can choose whoever you like Mr. De Vierra! Tanggap ko na , na kahit kailan hinding hindi mo ko magugustohan! I just realized ... na babae ako I know my worth! Hindi ko kailangan ipagsiksikan ang sarili ko sa taong hindi naman ako gusto!" Rosie said with teary eyed and  lied to Ezekiel she still like Ezekiel ang totoo ay mas lalo na namang syang nahulog sa ilang oras silang magkasama ni Ezekiel sa loob ng sasakyan na sila lang dalawa. hindi nya maintindihan ang pinapakita ni Ezekiel sa kanya ngayon. and she was thinking Selene sa isip nya na girlfriend na nito ni Ezekiel she should stop her feelings for him ayaw nyang makagulo sa dalawa. She did not even mentioned Selene about their relationship kasi sobrang masakit para sa kanya na pag usapan ito.
" Do you like Brian?." Ezekiel asked without looking at Rosie . Rosie breathe deeply
" Y-Yes!." Rosie lied and closed her eyes. For her it will be better if she answered yes and lied to Ezekiel
ayaw nyang kaawaan sya nito at magmukhang gusto parin nya si Ezekiel kaya kailangan nyang mapatunayan kay Ezekiel na wala na syang gusto dito and by saying yes to Ezekiel's question will do. 
After hearing Rosie's answer. He did not say anything. At nagpatuloy ito sa pagmamaneho this time ihahatid na nya sa bahay si Rosie.
They did not talk until they reached Rosie's house.

" Thank you sa paghatid." Rosie said
Ezekiel remained silent and never looked Rosie
Rosie opened the car's door at bumaba.
agad namang umalis si Ezekiel pagkababa ni Rosie sa sasakyan nito . Rosie was standing infront of their house staring at Ezekiel's car hanggang sa mawala na ito sa paningin nya. Rosie cried she was really hurt. She don't want to lie to Ezekiel pero kailangan nyang gawin. Para na rin sa kanya and maybe this would be a better way to forget him.

In the car while Ezekiel is driving pauwi na rin ng bahay nila he keeps on thinking about Rosie.
He was really hurt and jealous knowing that Rosie likes Brian if only he could turn back time where Rosie still likes him sana ay sinabi nalang nya kay Rosie what he really feels about her.
Suddenly his phone rang.. It was Brian calling him.
He picked up his phone
" Hello? Pinsan? where is Rosie? nahatid mo na ba sya sa bahay nya?" Brian asked sa kabilang linya.
" Yes. teka? bakit ba ako tinatawagan mo? ba't di sya ang tawagan mo?." Ezekiel furrowed his brows.
" She's not answering my calls kasi I'm just worried na baka di pa sya nakauwi. Nways Thank you bro!." Then Brian ended the call.
Brian really likes her. The fact that Ezekiel don't want to hurt his cousin also, maybe he should forget his feelings to Rosie at hayaan nlang sigurong magkamabutihan ang dalawa.
Ezekiel didn't know when his feelings for Rosie started . Rosie was his first crush aside from Rosie's beautiful face she's also brave and smart and has a good heart. Rosie was like by many . Hindi nya lang maamin ka Rosie ang nararamdaman nya because they were still young, he don't want to rush things. He don't want to take advantage of Rosie.Ezekiel was secretly admiring Rosie everytime lumalapit si Rosie sa kanya he's acting like he doesn't like her and he doesn't care for her gusto nyang panindigan yun but he can't everytime He pushed Rosie away the more na nahuhulog ang loob nya kay Rosie. And when Rosie is not around and can't see her he's always looking for her. And when Rosie stopped pestering him and knew that he likes Brian it feels like he want her back gusto nyang bawiin si Rosie kahit di naman naging sakanya , He miss Rosie terribly. He miss Rosie calling him "My Zeki!"
Inside him he was the happiest person when she heard Rosie calling him "My Zeki!"
That girl! She was so cute !
He complained in his heart how could she be beautiful and cute at the same time?! I mean how can you not love her?
She's really one of a kind and she's incomparable.
But it's too late ! Maybe I'll just forget that I like you! Or maybe I'll just pretend that I never knew I loved you."
His phone rang again it was Brian again calling him.
" Bro? Sure ka bang nakapasok na ng bahay si Rosie? pagkatapos nyong ihatid ng Driver mo?" Brian didn't know na si Ezekiel mismo ang nag maneho at naghatid ka Rosie.
" Yes . why? di parin ba nya sinasagot mga tawag mo?" Ezekiel asked.
" Di pa nga eh! Maybe she's busy." then Brian ended the call.
when Ezekiel reached  his house di muna sya bumaba sa sasakyan , kinuha nya sa bag ang sphone nya and he tried to call Rosie.
Rosie picked up her phone and immediately answered Ezekiel's call
" Yes?  Mr. De Vierra? "
Rosie said on the other line.

Ezekiel was dumbfounded. Why is Rosie answered his call immediately and not answering Brian's?
