The next day arrived, draped in the soft hues of dawn, a canvas promising a fresh start. With each sunbeam that peeked through the curtains, it whispered of new beginnings and the possibility of healing.

Jungkook stirred in his sleep, slowly waking to the warmth of Taehyung's embrace. The memory of last night's tearful release was still fresh, as were the emotions that had poured out.

Jungkook gazed up at Taehyung, who was now awake and looking at him with a soft smile. "Hyungie," Jungkook's voice was hoarse but filled with gratitude, "thank you for being here."

Taehyung's arms tightened around Jungkook, his voice tender, "Good morning, Kookie. I'm always here for you."

A small smile tugged at Jungkook's lips, and he found himself tracing the contours of Taehyung's face with his eyes, feeling the genuine care radiating from him. "Last night..." Jungkook's voice trailed off.

"I know," Taehyung nodded, his fingers brushing a strand of hair from Jungkook's face. "You needed that release. I'm glad I could be there for you."

Jungkook nodded, his throat tightening with unspoken emotions. "I still miss them, Hyung," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "Knowing what happened doesn't make it hurt any less."

Taehyung's eyes held Jungkook's, a shared understanding passing between them. "I know, Kookie. It's okay to feel that way."

Jungkook sighed, burying his face in the crook of Taehyung's neck. "But I want to remember them with happiness. I want to hold onto the good memories and let go of the pain."

Taehyung's arms enveloped Jungkook, a gentle embrace that offered solace. "That's a beautiful way to honour them, Kookie. They will be happy to look at you from above and see you happy. So baby, can you smile for me?"

And Taehyung was rewarded with a beautiful bunny smile. He peppered the younger with kisses all over his face making Jungkook giggle at the tickly feeling.

As the morning unfolded, Taehyung's efforts to lift Jungkook's spirits were evident in every gesture. He had prepared, or we can say he made his Jin Hyung cook, a lavish breakfast, complete with all of Jungkook's favourite dishes.

A tray laden with pancakes, fresh fruits, and banana milk was placed in front of Jungkook's eyes on a wooden table on their bedroom's balcony as soon as he stepped into the balcony.

"For me?" Jungkook's voice held a touch of amazement. Taehyung grinned, "Of course! Breakfast in bed, or should I say, breakfast on the balcony?"

Jungkook's laughter was genuine, the sound filling the room. "You're incredible, Hyung."

As they enjoyed their meal on the balcony, Taehyung's eyes sparkled with mischief. "You know," he began, "I have a few surprises planned for today."

Jungkook's curiosity piqued, and he raised an eyebrow. "Surprises?" Jungkook's smile widened, his eyes twinkling. "Yes, surprises." the older winked, leaving Jungkook intrigued.

As they finished breakfast, Taehyung led Jungkook on a treasure hunt around the house. Hidden notes led him to small gifts, each accompanied by a heartfelt message.

The joy that bubbled within Jungkook was infectious, and he found himself laughing freely, the weight of the past temporarily forgotten.

Later, they found themselves strolling through a nearby park, the sun filtered through the leaves above, dappling the path with golden light. Taehyung's fingers entwined with Jungkook's, their steps in perfect sync as they strolled beneath the canopy of trees.

A vendor's cart adorned with colourful balloons caught their attention. Taehyung's eyes lit up mischievously as he picked a few and handed them to Jungkook. The balloons bobbed and swayed as Jungkook held onto the strings, his laughter ringing out like music.
