The afternoon sunlight streamed gently through the window, painting the room in warm hues. Jungkook was immersed in his office; his attention focused on the task at hand. He furrowed his brows as his eyes were fixed on the screen before him, and his fingers danced over the keyboard.
As he was busy working, the calm in the room was suddenly interrupted by a strong and continuous shaking coming from his phone. The repeated 'ding' sound cut through the silence, indicating the continuous notifications that were filling his mobile screen.
Startled, Jungkook paused, his fingers hovering over the keyboard. He glanced at his phone, a mix of curiosity and surprise flashing in his eyes. The device continued to tremble with each notification.
Jungkook lowered his spectacles onto the table before heaving a sigh and stretching his arms high above his head, his muscles protesting from their fixed position. A soft groan escaped his lips as he flexed his fingers, then finally reached for the buzzing phone.
His fingers wrapped around the device, the vibrations ceasing as he lifted it from the table. The screen was awash with notifications. With a swift movement of his thumb, he tapped the screen, his eyes widening as a flood of messages and requests filled his vision.
He ignored all the other messages and clicked on a message from Yugyeom. His best friend was out of town for some paperwork related to one of the children at Borahae. The message contained a single link.
With a furrowed brow, he clicked on it, eyes widening almost immediately at the sight that greeted him. His heart skipped a beat as he stared at the photo that was splashed across the screen.
He dropped his phone on the table as the situation settled inside him. He took a deep breath before staring at the post again.
