Vaani's Pov

'Vaani.' Agastya called from upstairs.

'Coming.' I replied while putting butter on the bread.

'Vaani....come fast nah.' Agastya called again.

'Coming Agastya, one minute.'

'Wifeyyy.....'

This man is all set to make me mad in the morning itself.

'Agastya Ki Vaaniii.......'

'What ?' I asked, standing by the door.

'Nothing.' He replied, smiling cheekily.

'AGASTYA YOU........' I said pointing the butter knife at him, which I mistakenly brought with me.

'Vaani, you are pointing a knife at your PATIDEV ?' Agastya questioned, stressing on the word Patidev.

'Don't be dramatic Agastya. Also the knife is a blunt one.' I said, bewildered whether to laugh or cry at his charade.

'OMG Vaani ! Here I am seriously concerned about my life and you are saying that I am being dramatic ?'

'Good for you. I am leaving for your security purpose, you can get ready now.' Saying so I turned around to leave when.....

'Ouch !' I hit my head on a wall named Agastya.

'AGASTYAAAA......'

'Owhhh...my ears ! My precious ears !'

'Ugh !' A frustrated sigh escaped from my mouth.

'What's with your habit of pulling me ? Can't you just call my name out ?' I asked.

'You just happen to look more beautiful this close, in my arms.'

'Wow, didn't know. Thanks for enlightening me. Now, Agastya I have work to do, so you better leave me.'

'Or else ?' He asked, raising one of his eyebrows, a smug look on his face.

I poked at the side of his stomach making him loosen his hold. 'I know your weak points, just here and there.' I answered, masking the same look he had earlier.

'Vaani, not fair.' He complained.

'Everything is fair. Now bye.'

'Acha listen....' He called me again

'What ?'

'I have an important meeting with the investor so choose a tie for me please which would go with this attire.' He requested.

'Okay.'

I handed him a tie coordinating his outfit.

'All set. Bye Vaani, see you later.' He said, climbing down the stairs hurriedly.

'Slow down Agastya and drive safely.'

'Yah yah.'

'I wish you luck.' I shouted behind him.

'Thanks, love.' He replied back hurriedly, running out of the door.

Did I hear it correctly ?

Did he even realise what he said ?

At the office:

I was going through a file when my phone rang.

'Hello.' Agastya greeted from the other end.

'Hi. How was your meeting ?'

'It was a success.' I could hear the joy and excitement in his voice.

'Congratulations.'

'Thanks.' He replied.

'Agastya.'

'Yah ?'

'Do you remember what you said before getting out of the house ?'

'I heard you wishing me luck so I guess I said thank you.'

'Yah right.' I didn't press on the matter anymore.

'See you at home.' I said.

'Yah, bye.' He cut the call.

Immediately my phone rang again.

'Hello Tisham.'

'Take a little break from romancing, you know.' She said from the other end.

'Romancing ?' I asked, confused.

'Yaah. Busy at home, busy at phone...just busy everywhere. Give some attention to us too madam.'

'Okay madam. You have my full attention, now say.'

'Well we, I mean you, Shashank, Dev and me need to meet. Your hubby too, if possible.'

'Meet me at my house today if you guys are free.'

'Sure. Bye now.'

At home :

Shashank and Tisham came at 8:00 PM. Dev came by 8:15 PM. We were all seated in the dining area, waiting for Agastya to arrive.

'Didn't know you guys were coming.' Agastya said, as soon as he arrived.

'Hii bro.' Dev and Shashank greeted Agastya in a brotherly hug.

'Wow ! Didn't know you guys were this close.' I said, amazed and at the same time happy for Agastya for making friends.

'Don't be jealous Vaani.' Dev said.

'Oh shut up ex !'

'Ex ? Who ? Dev ?' Tisham asked.

'Yaah....actually Dev here pretended to be Vaani's ex-boyfriend to spice things up between Agastya and Vaani.' Shashank answered.

'Wow ! Was I the only one who didn't know ?' Tisham asked.

'Tisham, you see, we require our third member. These three here are already teaming up.' I said.

'We already have one.' Tisham said.

'We have ?' I asked.

'WHO ?' Agastya and Dev asked.

'Sahana.'

'Ohhh ! WHAT ?' I asked, taken aback.

'Sahana....I have heard this name somewhere.' Shashank said.

'Sahana, as in Vaani's PA ?' Agastya asked.

'Yes guys.' Dev replied, scratching his forehead.
