Her mind was no where but the next trick, it's never been competed in the Minneapolis championships, the quadruple axel. It's one of the hardest tricks, and Coach T was pushing her to do it, she needed to land it after her fall during the Triple Klutz, it was imperative she did. As Jules skated around the rink, gaining the momentum, she could listened to the music, the tune of the song playing in the speakers. Her entire future would be riding on this move.

Juliet changed direction, skating backwards down the middle of the rink, hands clasped behind her back. Her eyes straight ahead of her as she pointed her foot, lifting her right leg and doing a spin, holding the blade before extending it out at her side and laying as straight as a ruler, horizontally.

She clasped her eyes shut when she crouched down into a sitting spin before popping back up and taking off down the ice, Jules was a fast and delicate skater, she could see her mom in the crowd, watching as she built up to the trick. Changing direction once to skate backwards past the judges and then frontwards, she took her shot and leaped into the air, hugging her arms close to her chest. One spin. Two spin. Three spin-- pain shot threw her entire body as she lost momentum and landed without expecting to, her blade literally came out of the bottom of her shoe as it dug a chunk out of the ice and she went crashing to the ground.

The girl cried out in pain, when she hit the ground, breaking one of her ribs. Pain ripped threw her entire body, rendering her paralysed when she laid on the ice, blood dripping onto the surface from her forehead, that she'd hit on the ice. The music was cut when Coach T entered the ice, EMT's following her with a stretcher and a bag to tend to her wounds. Tears dripped down Jules's face when she was rolled onto her back, carefully, her blade had slid over to the barricades and her boot was at a strange angle.

The world blurred around her as the thirteen year old leaned back onto the blanket beneath her head, eyes fluttering shut from the blinding pain that came from her severely broken ankle. Her vision swam from her, and the last thing she remembered was someone whispering that she's going to be okay.

"Jules." Adam shoved her as they stood outside the rink, she wasn't sure what brought the sudden flashback on, but it hurt and it made her feel weak. Juliet blinked, feeling disorientated when she raised a brow, "You just zoned out, where was your head?"

"No where." She shook her head, looking at her old figure skating friends. They laughed between their little group, looking back at Adam and Juliet. Banks noticed her discomfort and put a hand on her shoulder, pulling her away from the rude girls. Barnes pushed his hand off, confused but followed nonetheless, "Don't do that, they're just jealous because I got out of the hell hole that is figure skating."
