Chapter three

Inaras pov

I woke up with the sun beaming in my face . I began to squint harshly and the sudden sensation I felt on my eye balls "..fuck" I groaned turning my head back into the pillow to get away from the evil sun this morning . I took in my mothers scent as I breathed in the pillow ,she smelt like daisy's . I miss her so much .  We'll ever I smell daisy's I instantly know my mom is with me look after me . I groaned and decided to get out of bed ,reluctantly  kicking my feet over the side of the bed to feel the soft Carpet along my toes . I sat for a little second longer com-tinplating if I'm real or not or is life real. But it is , this is reality inara and the world will go on with or without you so you better get up and make everyday your best . I got up and made my way into the kitchen grabbing honey combs and milk from the fridge and set it on the counter while I grabbed a bowl and a spoon . I could hear foot steps coming from the hall I looked back to see Roxanne or Roxy I call her both just depends if I'm mad or serious or not . " good morning my beautiful roommate " she said in a chipper voice which made me almost gag " why are you always so friendly in the morning ? Like babe it's 7 in the morning" I said pointing to the clock on the oven

"We'll actually I'm excited for today " she said with a slight smirk . I paused a though for a second , why would she be excited for today ? I know damn well it's not her birthday hmmmm . " what are you so excited about ?" I said look at her with a grin  as I filled the Cereal in the bowl and then put milk in the Cereal and grabbed my spoon and turned around to face her so I could talk to her and eat "well if you most know where going to be recording at inner-scope records finally instead of that old run down one in the old radio station " she said gleefully and nodded and smiled " hey I kinda liked that place I just love mold on the wall and rats running past me once in a while making me scream fucking up my recording " I said sarcastically but in a good mood now " what happened why did another studio  open up? "  I asked confused on why anyone would give up a open studio "well technically they just built new ones because shady 45 and aftermath share the same building and studios they just added more studios to the building so everyone can be happy and all their artist are in one place " she said as she walked over to the pit of coffee pouring it in to a mug "that's the whole reason why your happy ? I mean I get your my producer and all I mean more equipment that's newer but I feel as though there's something else your not telling me " I said eyeing her suspiciously up and down "nope that's it " she said trying to convince me with her 'just stop asking questions please and go with it' smile . No I'm definitely going to push this " Roxy I know you like the back of my hand you can't fool me " I said confidently as I finish the last of my cereal "it's about a boy isn't it ?" I said making her blush instantly I playfully rolled my eyes " who is it ?" I asked cocking a brow at her and looked at me and took a deep breathe " okay but if I tell you promise you will not get mad ?" She asked holding out her pinky , I rolled my eyes and latched my pinky on to hers making myself pinky swear as the held the bowl in own hand drinking the milky that was left

"Okay so his name is proof or deshuan holter " she said giggling and blushing as she started to act like a little girl with a play ground crush " okay why would I be mad at that? " I chuckle at her " as long as we get work done and your not making goo goo eyes at him then we're good " i started to put the dishes in the sink " wellllllllllllll" she said  as she dragged out the words . Omg is this the part the gets me mad? Well hopefully it's not too bad I turn around with my arms crossed leaning against the kitchen counter with my back towards it " Go on " I said as I raised a suspicious eyebrow " so proof is actually apart of that guys band you hate you like d12 ? Like Eminem's d12?" She said smiling nervously at me as she waited for my reaction . I thought about it for a moment wait that means he's going to work in the same building as us , Just my fucking luck I thought we'll if you really think about it inerscope is a huge record label I'm sure it has studios on the other side of the building I probably won't run into him theres like a 10 percent chance but ill take that chance if thar means we get better equiment .

"I mean we probably won't see him right ? it's a huge building" i said trying to convinve myself more then roxy at this point. "yeah sure " she said grining at me trying to make myself belive me too. " Alright well we should get going then we have to be at the studio at 8:30 so we can sign lability papers for the studio" she said making her way down the hall "Alright im going to start getting ready , yell when your ready" i said as made my way to the other side of the apartment . I went into my room and started to get ready for the day .

I showered and did my regular hygeine and decided not to wear any makeup becuase today i choose peace and im not going to get mad over my makeup coming out wrong . I went to my dresser and dug into my drawer until i found some low rise jeans and a black bra and a flowy shirt that opens up through the middle(see picture below)

I then let my hair air dry and grabbed my chuncky black flip flops with my purse . I grabbed my phone off my night stand and saw a miss call from britz . I click on the contact and wait for it to dial and bring it up to my ear and let it ring. On the 4th ring i heard "Well rise and shine how'd you sleep?" she sounded energtic why is eveyone such a mmoring person ?! its like 8 in the moring "Hiya morning , i slept pretty good until you know i had to wake up " i said with a light laugh " Don't worry your bed always is there when you come home , anyways i called roxanne to tell you guys about you moving to the actual interscope office she told you correct ?" i nodded " yeah she told me when i woke up pretty exciting stuff" i said happy that i finally get a nice studio to work in " well i want you on your best behavoir I know eminem and his whole crew thing he got going in is there so i need you to play nice i know how you don't like to shut your mouth" she said jokingly " Don't worry its a huge building i proably won't even run into him honestly " i said looking at myself in the mirror making sure my outfit was okay " Well thats a good spirt to have but i also have 2 more things to tell you 1 you can not smoke in the studio room i know you did at the last one but that was because it was run down and no one cared so your going to have to take it outside" she said sternly girl meant bussiness i tell you . "okay thats easy enough i guess what was the last thing ?" i asked curiously " theres a party tonight for the new people at interscope that just got signed all of the artist and producers need to be there " sounds easy enough hope i can find something to wear " Ok that sounds good where is it and what time?" I hope its close lord knows i hate driving in the dark "It starts at 9 but knowing you younger generation i suspect everyone is going to be there at 10 or 9:30 and its at the club 15 minutes from innerscope " I silently thank buddah that its not far " alright sounds good me and roxy will be there how long do i have to stay for ?" hoping its not too long i just wanna go home and sleep because obviously its too much to ask for these days like why do i need a job when could just sleep in bed all day ."Stay for at least 3 hours so leave around 1 and please be safe and don't do anthing i wouldn't do still have to keep you alive " She chuckled it made me laugh i love how she just takes over the mom role it makes me feel like i have someone "ok no promises but ill see you soon love you" i said lightly "I love you too well talk to you later" she said as i brought the phone down from my ear and flipped it shut . "Inara im ready!" i heard a shout from the kitchen and quickly made my way out of my room quickly grabbing my ciggerettes from the tv stand and went to the kitchen "ready ?" i said putting my phone and ciggerettes in my purse "Yup lets go or were gonna be late " she said as she hurried out the front door with me following closely behide loxking the front door and making it down to the parking garage .
