Patricia's pov:

I kept running and running and running. Not stopping and kept running. Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run. Stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp.

As I got deeper I saw the trees rotting but I kept running. And I ran faster and saw blood spill out of the trees and the trees branches reached for me. "No!" I yelled as it grabbed me and lifted me up by my foot.

"Let me go!" I yelled so loud birds went flying from the trees but then trees' bark split open to a shape of a mouth and roots went flying and grabbed the birds and shoved it in the mouth shape bark if the trees.

The wind stopped and it felt like I was loosing air and I realized the blood was pulsing to my head. "Let me . . ." I tried to speak but my eyes kept shutting and then they shut and I hit the ground hard but I was knocked out. I don't know what was going on.

I guessed the trees let me go.

The trees sway and reach for Patricia but the branch gets cut off and the tree scream and another tree grabs Patricia and the cycle continues.

Karen keeps cutting the trees limbs over and over again trying to save Patricia. A tree grabs Karen and raises her to the it's mouth. "No!" she yelled falling but gets caught in a net being held by Charlotte. The net is attached to a purple pole. "No wonder no one comes down here," Charlotte says.

"We've been looking for Patricia for 5 weeks and find a tree trying to eat her," Karen screamed. "No need to scream," Samantha said.

"Glad you are back, Samantha," Danny said. Gabriel nodded in agreement. Oliver stands beside Danny looking out at the treese. Oh shit went down, Oliver thought to himself.

"How was America?" Karen screamed at Samantha. "Stuff went down," Samantha said. "A twist in our life," Oliver said. "We saw something we wish we never saw," Samantha stated with a look of fear on her face. Oliver banged her with his elbow. "Ow... Oh, I lied by the way, we didn't see anything!" Samantha stated moving closer.

The trees started attacking shooting their roots out at them. "Crap!" Oliver and Samantha yelled in shock.

Oliver and Samantha raised some swords and cut the roots in half leaving the trees in pain. "Swords are so fun to use," Oliver said. Samantha agrees. They continued fighting.

"I can't believe they are fighting trees," Charlotte said. "Me neither," Danny said. "I mean . . . am I even your friend, Danny?" Charlotte asked. "You're my ex..."

"Am I even your ex if you assumed you liked me?" Charlotte asked Danny. Danny sputtered. "No," he finished. "Oh..." Charlotte murmured. "So friends?" Charlotte asked. Danny thought to himself.

Samantha was picked up by a tree branch.

He watched it happened to Samantha. "Yes, friends," Danny replied to Charlotte.

Oliver cuts the root dropping Samantha. Samantha landed on Oliver. The tree turned a grey and faded away. Samantha shed a tear with wide eyes with the memory of Amelia. "Amelia!" Samantha screamed. Oliver comforted when Samantha nuzzled against Oliver crying.

Danny and Charlotte heard Samantha and went to where they were and saw the trees fade away as Karen cut their roots.

"You okay, Samantha?" Charlotte asked them. "No," they replied.

"What happened?" Danny asked Samantha. "Amelia," they replied. Danny looked at everyone, "Who is Amelia?"

Samantha looked up at Danny. "She was my friend and was poisoned."

"By the air?" Danny asked. "No, by the food at Clarice's parent's place," Samantha corrected with sass. "Could Clarice have something to do with this by chance?" Danny asked Samantha.

"You're always skeptical by her," Gabriel said. Gabriel was a little mad. "She is acting suspicious from the start," Danny exclaimed. "How?" Gabriel asked in reply. "You can't be suspicious of everyone sho acts too happy, or too inhuman," Karen said in the background when...

Oliver's phone ping and the forest seemed to darken more for Samantha as Danny and Gabriel argue.

Oliver showed Samantha what he was sent. "Who sent that?" they asked him. "Who sent what?" Gabriel asked.

"A picture of Grendaline's corpse," Oliver told the others. Gabriel made a disgusted face. "That is sick!" Gabriel exclaimed. "In a bad way," Samantha and Charlotte specified in unison. At least Samantha has Charlotte; and Danny and the others.

*______*

"That is terrifying," Danny murmured. "Thats it?" Gabriel asked. "Do you have a crush on her?" Danny asked. "Guys!" Oliver tried to stop this.

"I don't understand how these questions and statements make sense with eachother," Karen stated. "Same," Charlotte murmured to herself.

A axe raised from behind the trees and hitting a Squirrel blinding Danny with its blood. He screamed.

"Come on," Gabriel said as he grabbed Danny's arm and pulled him away as he ran.

Samantha grabbed a huge stick and tried to hit the axe out of the person's hand and it cut through the log; Oliver pulled Samantha out the way in time.

Samantha's arm is bleeding. She flinced in pain. She assumed either the stick or the crazy axe wielding—Oh.

The trees picked up Danny. "Danny!!!" Gabriel screamed. "Gabriel!!!" Samantha screamed when Gabriel got picked up by a tree. She looked in horror at the sight of her friends going in the aie, especially one that is their brother.
