Sage was a darling.
She was the sunshine that lit up everyone's life, shining through the windows begging for all to wake up with a smile even if it meant that she never would.
For her however, her father was the sunshine to her glow. Until he wasn't and the universe did that horrible thing where it opened up its black hole and took her father with it. Sadness constantly dawning upon the girl. Two years had passed and fake smiles still concurred.
Sage had moved in with her dear mother who made her laugh and kept her head up as much as she could. That was in the day when the sun was out and the drinks were a bay, no room for her mother to grab and start the usual cycle.
All her mother had ever tried to show her was the love and laughs that a grieving daughter needed. Even if something comes and absouletely breaks them apart.
However it seemed she had showed the young girl wrong. Drink your problems away, even if this method caused more problems and tears for you the next day. Drink it away baby!
So she did.
Silly, silly girl.
She would drink. Not alot, not crazily and honestly she hated the bitter taste of alchol against her tongue. But breakdowns would end up in sips, turning into gulps.
The drinking was minor, until her mother did something you should never forgive a love one for. Something unforgiveable and then one very pretty irish bloke came and saved her from tipping the drinks along with herself over the edge.
