"ONE MILLION BUCKS B.C."

Courtney cleared her throat expectingly and glared at Chris.

"We'll start as soon as I take care of a few formalities." He sighed. "Thanks to Courtney's lawsuit, she'll be playing by a different set of rules."

"You said there are no rules," Duncan argued

"There are when you have a good lawyer," Courtney said matter-of-factually, and I smiled at her.

"Chef, let's get this over with." Chris groaned as he was handed a book, and he cleared his throat. "Rule one: Notwithstanding that contestants are not permitted contact with the outside world, the contestants hereafter referred to as 'Courtney' may retain a personal digital assistant, a.k.a her PDA."

"What? That's so not fair!" Beth protested, "I'm the one with the boyfriend!"

"Care to take that up with our legal department, Beth, huh? Didn't think so." He continued, "Rule two: Whereas contestants shall continue to receive allocated meals provided by Chef Hatchet, Courtney shall be entitled to a gourmet dining experience with parties consisting of producers and myself, as applicable. Hope you like lobster!"

Everyone started to get mad at Courtney and argue about how unfair it was, but I just smiled along with her, knowing they got their karma for being so mean to her.

"So that you know, I'll be sharing a lot of my stuff with people who are nice to me.." They all looked at her sweetly as if they hadn't done anything to her. "I'm talking about y/n. You ALL voted for me last night, so don't try." She scoffed

They continued to yell at her, and Chris just laughed. "Let's see your lawyers get you outta this one."

"What? I'm still sleeping in the girl's trailer!" She said

"Where she will have a pure goose down pillow, extra-lofty comforter, and 700 thread count sheets. Oh! And her own... private... bathroom."

Everyone was ticked off at her, but she smiled back at them.

"Nice, our spoiled princess didn't waste any time hooking herself up," Duncan commented, and I felt a tinge of jealousy at his nickname for her.

"And you didn't waste any time hooking up with Gwen after I left!" She pushed her finger into my chest.

"While I'm touched, you're still hot for me; my personal relationships are none of your business."

"I think eyebrow piercing here needs an ego check." I scowled at him, starting to get pissed off.

"You're on TV. They're everyone's business!" She growled.

I sighed as they continued to argue, and I no longer showed much interest. Chris announced today's genre to be the "period movie'. Everyone was excited until he said that the period they were doing was the Stone Age.

"Here are your costumes. Get into character, people!" Chris exclaimed, pointing to a rack of prehistoric-looking clothes.

"You've gotta be kidding," Duncan complained

"I never kid. Actually, I do, but not about something this funny."

"You'll look perfect, Duncan" Courtney smirked at him. "You're already a total Neanderthal."

Once we were all dressed up, Chris was announcing the challenge. "Chef, the tools for the first Stone Age challenge, please!" he said with a smile

"Here's your rocks," Chef said, handing rocks to the campers.
