"ONE MILLION BUCKS B.C."

The first two to fight were Leshawna and Lindsay; the fight did look pretty unfair, though.

"I'm supposed to knock her off with this teensy-wensey little bone?" Leshawna complained

"How do we know when to start?" Lindsay asked Chris.

"Oh, don't worry. You'll know." He said, laughing maniacally before blowing his giant horn that he used to wake us up this morning. The sound waves from the horn shook the campers, causing Lindsay to fall into the tar without a fight. Leshawna talked about how easy that was while her team cheered.

"Next up, Beth and Heather!" Chris announced. Suddenly, a loud shrieking noise and a bunch of giant-looking pterodactyls started swarming the area. "Uh oh! Looks like Lindsay's blood-curdling screams have attracted a swarm of prehistoric pterodactyls! This should make things interesting."

"Cool special effects, man, high five," Justin said, holding up a hand to the host.

"Oh, definitely special effects!" Chris laughed, stepping away from him without returning the high-five. Heather and Beth started to argue once they were above the tar pit, and Heather swung her bone around.

"Why don't you just give up now and save us all the time?" She spat before a pterodactyl swooped down and grabbed onto her cave-looking weave before tugging on it aggressively.

I couldn't help but laugh as I looked at Courtney, who was also giggling. We shared a glance and started to laugh more as the giant bird flew off with her wig. I clutched my stomach in a fit of laughter, leaning into Courtney. Our hands brushed against each other, and she grabbed hers in mine; I looked over, and she seemed to be unfazed and still laughing, so I just left the moment to sink in. She looked over to me, and our eyes locked before she looked down at our hands. Her face turned red, which I was confused about, but I didn't question it.

"I did not realize I grabbed- uh, your hand. Sorr-"She started to let go, but I cut her off and grabbed her hand tighter.

"I don't.. mind. As long as you don't." I smiled at her.
She squeezed my hand, and I leaned my head on her shoulder while we watched the others fight.
Heather ended up falling over when her wig got snatched before grabbing onto Beth's bone for dear life.

"Let go!" Beth yelled.

"You let go!" Heather protested

"Okay!" She said, and with that, the bald girl and the bone flew straight down into the tar pit.  I felt Courtney laugh next to me, but I didn't react much because I was way too focused on what was happening, and I was definitely blushing like crazy now. I felt so safe with her hand in mine and just beside her... Our team cheered at the victory, congratulating Beth.

"Isn't anyone gonna help me out of here?" Heather said, covered in pitch black tar, before falling backward into the pool again.

"That evens the scores for the Grips and the Gaffers, 1-1, next up Justin and Harold!" Chris said smiling
Harold dodged most of Justin's hits and got even more scared when many prehistoric beavers returned, and we were waiting for him below.
