CHAPTER 25: DILLEMA?

The Contest was declared finished, and everyone started to leave the arena, and celebrate with their females if not their friends. Rosa left quickly, she couldn’t stand the embarrassment, her males following behind her. She was fuming and full of anger. Nothing can happen now unless she forcefully makes him her. Yes, she has to talk to her father and everything will be sorted out.

On the other hand, Dylan, Owen, Kiara and Xavier decide to go to the diner and have dinner there, as it was already evening. This time Xavier carried Kiara, her hands were around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist. She was laying her head on Xavier's shoulder, the contest tired her out but she did enjoy it.

Kiara grinned, her eyes wide as she took in the vibrant chaos around her.

"Can you believe how alive this place is? It's like the whole city is dancing."

The Trio chuckled, Owen's fingers gently caressing her face.

"Yeah, it's like the rhythm of the city has its unique beat. And we're just here, trying to find our groove in the middle of it all."

As they walked past street vendors and shops, the aroma of various foods filled the air.

Kiara tugged Xavier's shoulder playfully.

“Can I have those sweets, please?”.

Xavier was about to say yes, but Dylan firm no left her pouting.

“She cannot have sugar, if not she won’t eat anything”.

Kiara glared at Dylan, but in Dylan eyes’s her glare was no more than a chick glaring at him. Owen couldn't help but laugh at her interaction, she was just too adorable. He hoped that his children would be like Kiara one day.

Xavier immediately took mental note of what Kiara could do, he has to train to resist her pleas on things that can be an issue with her health, if not Kiara would be using that to her advantage.

At the end of their stroll, they arrived at the same diner they were at the last time it was a cosy place to eat with family or friends.

The three men has large size meat whereas Kiara only had small size along with vegetables. She was sitting in Dylan's lap because when they arrived they couldn't find a table of four so they had to compromise but they were more than happy much to Kiara's dismay as she became shy in front of all the other people.

KIARA:

Everything looked peaceful, now that I have three of them I should start telling them that I'm not from here. It will be much easier for me because I just can't be at peace despite being so happy and the amazing care and love that they give me.

Or should I wait? No, no, the more I wait the more it will stress me out. I will wait until we reach home.

"Kiara I will be going to get my stuff today from my den then I will come to your"

Xavier spoke with gentleness, he was quite older than me but then again who cares I do come from the modern time where the age gap is more or less acceptable.

But this makes him more mature and gorgeous than Dylan and Owen but they are not less beautiful than him, is just that Xavier looks more mature than the two.

"Kiara, are you okay?"

"Uh, oh, yes sure maybe … we can go together to pick your stuff"

"I would be more than happy but it is already the evening and the sun is setting down, let's go tomorrow then.

Xavier reasoned with me. I only nodded and started to chew my food.

AUTHOR POV:

After their dinner the group walked back to their house, Xavier decided that it will be better to go with Kiara now and then tomorrow they could go and pick up his stuff.

Kiara was unsure if she wanted to be mated with Xavier today or get to know him first properly after all she only read him in the book and because she came to this world the plot changed,

and if that's the case then looking back Rosa did create a problem for Anna when Xavier was infatuated with her and they did not mate so Rosa forcefully tried to make Xavier her which was horrendous <curse the author>.

Kiara was spaced out because of her inner turmoil. But she did come to an agreement that she will mate with them tomorrow and today she will tell them the truth so they can be prepared for future plotting and disasters.

"Uhmm... I need to tell you, guys, guys something"

The trio stopped and gazed at Kiara, Dylan and Owen already knew what she wanted to tell, but Xavier kind of guessed that she was hiding something because the way she speaks and her manners are completely different from the females.

Yes, there might be some females that are kind to their mates but that's rare, but they do act like some sort of celebrity but Kiara is not.

She might be the centre of attention because of her manner and beauty, she might be selfish in some way in choosing the males that are not favoured by the heroine in the original novel but she is trying and she did indeed fall in love with them after knowing them more than the books told her.
