As the morning light gently filtered through the curtains. Kiara's eyes fluttered open, she stretched beneath the soft blankets, basking in the lingering warmth of sleep.
"You woke up?" [OWEN]
"Hmm." [KIARA]
Owen picked up Kiara and took her to the bathroom. She washed herself and got ready for the day. After she came out, they both went downstairs.
More likely she was being carried due to her being sore from yesterday's activity.
"Today I'm going to go to my den and meet a close friend before coming back".
[XAVIER]
"Can I go?". [KIARA]
"No, sweetheart you are still sore from yesterday" [XAVIER]
Hearing the words, Kiara blushed but she wouldn't give up and she would use her mighty weapon. She tilted her head slightly, her eyes widening and taking on an irresistibly innocent and hopeful look. The corners of her lips turned upward in a subtle pout, and her brows furrowed just a touch. Kiara's expression made it impossible for the trio to resist, their hearts melted once again.
"Okay, just don't look it that way or you won't be able to walk for the whole week" [DYLAN]
Kiara's demeanour changed from an innocent to an embarrassed expression. She covered her in her small hands and was too bashful to even look at them now.
The trio laughed at her expression, enjoying teasing her was the best and wholesome moment of their day.
In the end, they decide that Owen will stay in the house to guard against other beats and Dylan and Xavier will go out with Kiara.
AT THE CENTRE...
Kiara was being carried out by Dylan while Xavier was giving them directions. Unfortunately, today was not their day.
Rosa appeared in front of them along with her new males. She looked at Kiara and Xavier with hatred and jealousy, completely ignoring the presence of Dylan, not like he cared.
Kiara looked at Rosa and saw her expression. With a glint of playfulness in her eyes which was noticed by both of her males, she called Xavier towards her. Without any warning she held Xavier's cheeks with both of her hands and smashed her lips against Xavier's. Xavier was perplexed by Kiara's boldness but enjoyed the savoury taste of her mouth. He bit her lips causing her to moan and open her mouth. Xavier took the change and inserted his tongue exploring each corner of her mouth, turning the playful kiss into a heated one. Dylan was perplexed as well but turned back to his usual self and enjoyed Kiara's boldness.
"You wretch!" Rosa screamed with her high-pitched voice. She was enraged! How could she!
Hearing Rosa scream Kiara broke the kiss, She looked satisfied stirring up Rosa. Dylan laughed at Kiara’s naughtiness while Xavier let out a threatening growl towards Rosa. Rosa’s mate also growled at him but because of the law of the beasts' city you mustn't fight unless it's in the arena and have permission from the elder, they couldn't attack him.
"My estrous cycle is coming up If you choose me I will let you become my mate and produce cubs for you" [ROSA]
Kiara choked on her saliva from what she heard. Rosa was so desperate was this her plan then? Kiara doesn't clearly remember what was Rosa's plan but oh well at least she was mated so who cares.
"I clearly told you that I can't accept you" [XAVIER]
"Why! If you don't love me then why did you not let me get punished when I caused the accident?" [ROSA]
Rosa was being desperate. There is no such thing, Xavier loved her that's why he didn't condemn her for her misconduct.
At the mention of the accident, Kiara and Dylan's ears perked up. They got curious and turned their faces at Xavier, especially Kiara she wanted to know so her intense stare did not go unnoticed by Xavier.
"I will tell you later".
Xavier whispered and gave a kiss on her head.
"You seriously are dumb, the wolf King spoiled you rotten" [XAVIER]
Then they walked away, ignoring Rosa and her males.
"Xavier! Xavier! We are not finished!"
Rosa screamed, she craved for him why couldn't he understand her? She did that because of him so why does he loathe her?
