Their walk was silent, Kiara thought she was in trouble and they might see her in a different light but she didn't want that.
They reached home, and Xavier was astonished by the house, on the outside it looked like a normal house of this world but the inside was more modern and developed.
Kiara sat in the middle of the sofa with Dylan beside her and Owen and Xavier sat on the left of the sofa.
The atmosphere was quiet.
Kiara shifted uneasily, her fingers tapping a nervous rhythm against her thigh. Her eyes darted around the room as she fidgeted with the hem of her shirt, her heart racing. Taking a deep breath, she finally gathered the courage to speak, her voice trembling slightly as she spoke.
"I'm not from this world"
She paused and looked at their faces for any reaction but they remained expressionless and let her continue.
"I was suddenly thrown into this world with another girl. And I know this might not be believable but this world is actually inside a book that someone wrote."
She took another deep breath and
"Youarethecharactersofthisbookwhowereinfatuatedwithheroine"
She blurted out altogether, at this point she was about to cry and have a breakdown.
Dylan swept her from her seat and placed her on his lap holding her by the waist, while Xavier and Owen came around her and both held her hands, giving her support.
"Sweetheart just speak slowly and if you are not ready then we can wait"
Xavier said with the same gentleness that he used before and the other nodded. They wanted to know but didn't want to force her.
Kiara nodded but she had to do it today. Once you start something you cannot go back.
"Uhm, so basically this world is based on a book, and you guys are the characters that are infatuated with the heroine"
Xavier, Dylan and Owen were in shock and surprised, they kind of guessed that she was not from here considering her strange clothes. But it was astonishing for the fact that they are just mere characters in the book.
It took them a while to digest the information, while Kiara patiently waited for them to come back to their original self. She felt a little better now.l, but also worried.
"So the weird clothing and the magical portal are from your world"
Owen spoke this time.
"Hm hm, when I came here the engraved flowers somewhat magically appeared on my shoulder and I can I open the space which give the ability to pretty much access anything from my world"
"And the girl that comes with you is the heroine, whatever you called Anna who I met at the village?" [DYLAN]
Kiara nodded.
"Anna is the heroine which means she is the main character and the world revolves around her. And the leopard is her mate and the main character as well and all her other mates are just side characters".
[AUTHORS NOTE: when reading the manga of beauty and the beast I felt that Parker was the main ML and then it was Curtis the other were just side characters… and then how Bai Qing claimed that she would never be like the others female but she does end up being one when being with Winston...]
They wanted to ask more question but saw that Kiara
had half-closed eyes, and her movements are slower and more lethargic. She started to yawn and rubbed her eyes. She was tired from today's activity so it was natural that she got tired and needed to sleep. If not she will get cranky.
NEXT MORNING...
Everyone woke up and started to get ready for the day. While Kiara was still sleeping.
Dylan was cooking breakfast for her, and for the rest while Owen was helping him but he was just being a pain and causing nothing but mess in the kitchen and ended up getting thrown by Dylan to go fetch water from the well.
Meanwhile Xavier went to wake up Kiara.
"Sweetheart open your eyes"
Kiara whined and turned the other way around, completely ignoring Xavier. And only Kiara could do that to him.
"Kiara I will brought the sweet that you wanted to eat"
At the mention of the sweet she woke and got up from the bed swinging her legs on the edge of the bed, but failing miserably as she tripped on the blanket and she fell. Not really Xavier caught her in time; he has quick reflexes. Advantages of being and a 9 striped tiger.
"You lied"
Kiara said, looking at the empty hands of Xavier.
"Yes, but I will get it for you today."
Giving a peck on her forehead and her cheeks making her blush and embarrassed. She was about to go back underneath her blanket on her comfortable bed but before she could Xavier swept her like a bag of potato sack and took her to bathroom and left her there stating that she should come within ten minutes.
Kiara was left baffled, but she did obey.
After ten minutes Kiara was sat in the table enjoying her omelette but without ketchup, sadly the portal didn't allow her any food.
After finishing breakfast they all sat around the sofa like yesterday night to continue their talk. But his time Kiara was sitting on Xavier's lap, and her two hands were held by Dylan and Owen.
"So like you said yesterday Anna is protagonist and we are supposed to be infatuated with her" [DYLAN]
Kiara nodded.
"Then what about you, are in the story, did you have other males other than us". [OWEN]
Just thinking that some other male was with his female, made his head boil, his veins popping out in his wrist.
Kiara shook her head.
"I'm not a character but I was just suddenly thrown into this world out of nowhere"
They all nodded in understanding.
"Anything else that we should know" [XAVIER]
"Oh ,yes! Rosa will forcefully take you to mate with her with the help of her father and the wolf King is dangerous. He has a mate from the mermaid clan who is greedy for power; she wants to mate with the other three King's. Tiger, Lion and Leopard, and the wolf King will gladly help her as he is charmed by her beauty, and then she will be the only female to be able to control the beats city and have her ways with her"
XAVIER POV:
This is shocking, my brother who has a mate that he loves, will be infatuated with another. My brother and I are on friendly terms. I never had interest in the throne so we never had conflicts. I must warn him before he makes a mistake.
On the other hand, looking at my love. She brought nothing but surprises, it was shocking to know that she was from another world and we are just some characters from the book, and she knew us before we knew her. But her love for us is real. I can see the mark on her chest and I hope mine is there too.
But the fact that the wolf king is hiding his mate despite having a female is truly disgusting and disappointing. I have to meet with the other Kings and tell them the news, especially my friend who I consider another brother of mine.
