Chapter Eight

Lyric Williams

Lyric felt her phone vibrate before grabbing it without looking she answered it and placed it on her ear.

"Hello." She mumbled.

"Hello? Ho-Seok?"

Lyric shot up as her eyes widen, she looked at the phone before she felt arms around her waist. She looked down and seen Ho-Seok asleep before letting a gasp slip from her lips, she eased out of his grip and looked around noticing they were in the living room.

"Um, Ho-Seok." She whispered slightly tapping him.

He groaned before his eyes fluttered opened, his long eye lashes were so cute. She shook the thoughts out of her head before passing the phone to him.

"Hello." He mumbled sitting up.

She took the time to clean up around them before quickly going to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She thought about the kiss they shared last night and smiled, she hasn't been kissed in a while. She shook her head and rinsed her mouth before checking her phone, she had forty-five minutes before she had to go to work. She stepped out of the bathroom to see Ho-Seok scrolling through his phone.

"Good morning." She said.

"Good morning, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to turn into a sleep over." He chuckled.

"Oh it's fine, I didn't mind." She smiled.

He glanced at her and smiled before standing up.

"Well, I have to go and pick up my brother. Are you free tonight?" He asked.

"Mhm." She nodded.

"Good, how about we go out?" He asked.

"Ok, I get off at 5." She said.

"Then I'll see you around eight?" He asked.

She nodded, he pecked her cheek before leaving. She placed her hand on her cheek and squealed before getting ready for work, once she made it to work she noticed a stack of charts on her desk. She sighed, it was the beginning of the week, which means new patients, she grabbed the charts and began looking through them.

"Hey girl." Nova smiled leaning over the counter.

"Hey Nova." She smiled.

"Oop, what got you smiling like that?" She asked.

"What do you mean? I can't smile?" Lyric asked.

"That's a cheeky ass smile, what's new? What you been doing? Or Who you been doing?" Nova asked raising her brows.

Lyric laughed and shook her head.

"I haven't been doing anything-"

"Did he knock the Mario coins out that pussy yet?" Nova asked with a smirk.

Lyric gasp and hit her on the head with the charts.

"Lower your voice." She whispered.
