Chapter Sixteen

Lyric Williams

Lyric sat on top of her luggage as Nova struggled to zip it, she giggled as she watched her struggle. Nova gave the death glare as she finally zipped the bag, Lyric smiled before standing up, she flopped beside Nova and smiled.

"Thank you." Lyric smiled.

Nova rolled her eyes and waved her off before sitting up.

"Are you nervous?" Nova asked.

"A little but excited at the same time." Lyric shrugged.

"That makes sense." Nova nodded.

"Thank you for helping me pack." She smiled.

"Of course you're going to gone for a week." Nova pouted.

Lyric laughed.

"You'll have Hyun-Woo to keep you entertained." She said sitting up.

"Yeah, but how are you? It's a lot of shit in the blogs." Nova asked.

Lyric sighed, these past few weeks have been a little stressful. Some people took it upon themselves to body and fat shame her. It bothered her but it didn't make her look at herself any different.

"I mean I knew it was bound to happen Ho-Seok is really well known. I don't let it get to me." She said.

"Good because I got you a little something." Nova said reaching into her purse.

Lyric looked at her weird before Nova held a shirt up that said "Unless I'm sitting on your face, my weight is none of your business."

"Now this is a statement." Lyric said.

"I know right, you should wear it to the fight." She said.

"I don't know, what would his family think?" Lyric asked.

"Girl fuck that we are all grown." Nova said.

"You're right." Lyric nodded agreeing.

Nova smiled and stuffed the shirt in the pocket of her luggage.

"Thanks Nova for being here and helping me." Lyric smiled.

"Of course you're my best friend, I will always be there for you no matter what." Nova smiled before embracing her in a hug.

Nova smiled.

"Come on I'll help you with your bags." She said.

Lyric smiled before helping her carry her luggage to her car, once they finished placing her bags in the car she glanced at Nova.

"I'll take a lot of photos and I'll bring you something back." Lyric said.

"You better." She warned.

Lyric laughed before embracing her in a hug, she waved good bye before getting into her car. She looked at the rearview mirror and smiled as she watched Nova get into her car before focusing on the road.
