Chapter Twenty-Five

Lyric Williams

Lyric rubbed her hands through her hair and sighed. Today was a stressful day, she sat down and looked at the menu as she waited for Ho-Seok.

"Hey Love, sorry I'm late. Hyun-Woo came by and we were just catching up. I hope I didn't keep you waiting long." He said.

She looked up at him and smiled.

"You didn't it's fine." She giggled.

He let out a breath before sitting down.

"How was your day?" He asked picking up a menu.

"It was emotional to say the least." She said.

"Want to talk about it?" He asked locking eyes with her.

"Nope, how was your meetings?" She asked.

"Good." He said.

She nodded before she continued looking at the menu. She knew he was burning a whole into her face but she didn't dare look up.

They ordered and sat in a tense silence as they waited.

"So how was hanging out with Nova?" He asked.

"It was nice a little catch up nothing too serious." She mumbled.

He nodded before there food arrived, they ate in silence. Lyric picked her food before looking out the window. She was so lost in her own thoughts she didn't even notice Ho-Seok paying the bill.

"You're ready?" He asked.

She nodded before standing up.

"I'm going to head home, I'll call you later. I love you." She said.

"Uh uh, come with me." He said grabbing her hand.

Lyric sighed before looking up at him.

"Baby, I've had a really stressful day. I just want to go home and sleep." She sighed.

"Please." He said.

She locked eyes with him and sighed.

"Ok." She mumbled.

"Come on, I'll have someone pick up your car." He said.

Before she could respond he grabbed her hand pulling her to his car, she watched as he opened the door for her.

"Ho-Seok where are we going?" She asked getting inside.

He leaned over the door and looked at her.

"It's a surprise." He smiled before closing the door.

She mentally rolled her eyes as she watched him get into the car, he held her hand as they began heading to where he was taking her. She noticed they pulled up at his gym before glancing at him.

"Ho-Seok why are we here?" She asked.

He didn't answer her as he got out of the car, he opened her door and grabbed her hand helping her out. She looked at him and huffed, she was becoming annoyed but it wasn't because of him but he wasn't helping.
