chapter eight

Chapter eight.

One month later.

The nursery is finished.

John and marlena decided on names  for the babies.

They decided on Liam John and
Lily Ava.

They decided to have a home birth.

They told their family and friends that they're having twins.

Marlena is now having six months pregnant.

The baby shower.

Family and friends are at the john and marlena's apartment and they decorating the living room in pink and blue color decorations.

Marlena.doesn't even have the slightest clue as to what is going on, she is very surprised to say the least.

John and marlena arrived at their apartment.

John opened the door and everyone says surprise.

what on earth is all of this?.
Marlena asked.

"Your baby shower, john told his wife

Oh, john, and i love you, marlena tell him.

"Love you too,

john tell his wife and he kissing her on the lips.

Marlena is having good time at her baby shower.

John and marlena are sitting on the couch and they're going to open the gifts.

They got  lotions, diapers, clothes, books, toys, Baby monitor, Mobile Gymini, two carriers, two car seats two bassinets, blankets, two seat tub for baths.

They got more stuff for the babies

John and marlena thanks theirs the gifts.

Later that night.

"Come on, babies, Mommy's trying to sleep, Please stop kicking."

John heard his wife murmur.

suddenly sleep wasn't as important to him.

John opened his eyes and reached for her belly.

Marlena, john said.

John, I thought you were was sleeping?, Marlena asked him.

"I was.

John told his wife as he running his hands over her stomach.

He felt a strong kick was delivered to his palm as it rested on marlena's stomach.

"You felt that?.

marlena asked her husband.

"I felt them.

John told his wife.

"Here.

Marlena said as she grabbing John's hand and moving it around her belly where there were even stronger kicks.

"Wow, John said

John pressing his lips against marlena's stomach.

"Daddy, love you both very much, you need to let your mommy sleep.
John told his unborn children.

John pulled marlena close to him and she lay her head on his chest.

Thank you, they have settled down a little bit, Marlena tell her husband

Your welcome sweetheart, john told his wife.

John and marlena fallen back to sleep.

The next morning.

John smiled softly as he settled onto his side of the bed .

John placing the tray of French Toast on his bedside table.

His wife was completely beautiful as she slept, her hair falling in her face and her hand resting on the swell of her belly.

John felt a sudden rush of emotion rush over him as he looked at marlena still unable to believe that the most amazing woman in the world was carrying his babies.

that she was keeping their daughter and son safe and warm until they were ready to come into the world and meet them.

Marlena.

John whispered as he leaning forward so his lips were against her ear.

Wake up.

John said into marlena's ear.

"No.

Marlena muttered as she curling into herself.

"Yes, I have French toast
With peanut butter.

John told his wife.

Marlena sat up on the bed and
john handing her the tray.

"Happy Valentine's Day, marlena, john told her.

Marlena froze with her fork halfway to her mouth before she let it clatter to the plate.

She turning to look at john with wide eyes.

John, I completely forgot,
My stupid pregnant brain is forgetting absolutely everything, and I don't have a Valentine's Day present for you even though you've been the most amazing husband ever, Marlena tells john.

"It's okay, sweetheart and you're giving me two babies, There's not much else I can ask, john told his wife.

"But you've been amazing,
marlena told her husband.

Marlena, Sweetheart, it's alright and i love you, john told her.

I love you too.

marlena told her husband and
she eat her pancakes.

After marlena done eating breakfast her and john snuggled in their bed.

Johm reached over to his night stand and opened the top drawer.

He pulled out a small box and stuck it under the blankets.

John then turned back to look at his lovely wife.

Marlena, i have something for you.

john said as he reached under the sheet and he pulled out her gift.

Marlena took the present and
she carefully removed the colorful wrapping paper.

John kept an eye on marlena's face to see what her reaction would be.

Marlena knew by the size of the box that it was some jewelry.

She opened the box and gasped.

Inside was a necklace with a heart shaped charm with her birthstone

I talked to the jeweler and he said we could add our children's birthstone after they are born,
John told his wife.

Marlena just stared at the necklace and cried.

She looked into john's face and put her hands on his cheeks.

"Oh, john,  it's so beautiful and
I love the idea of adding our children's birthstone to the heart,
I love you!"

Marlena told him as she pulled his face towards hers and gave him a soft kiss.

John put his hand on her belly and he lowered his head towards it.

John started to talk to his unborn children.

Hi, this is Daddy and I want you to know that I love you both equally and individually."

Your mommy loves you both the same way, too.

We can't wait for you to get here, but you stay nice and cozy in your mommy's belly for a few more months.

We can't wait to show you this great big world of ours."

John kissed marlena's belly and
then he lifted his head back up
to look into his wife's face.

He brushed away her tears,

They hugged each other.
